I will never go back to HMCR; I will never recommend HMCR to anyone. I went on a Groupon and it still wasn’t worth it –don’t think I’d go again if it were free. They only offer appointments 3 days a week and some on Saturdays. If that wasn’t challenging enough, my appointment was rescheduled twice accommodating their own schedule! Their only saving grace is Barbara — she sets the appointments and is pleasant. However, Peter, the massage therapists will talk to you the ENTIRE massage and continuously try to up-sell you on packages while you’re on the table! There is no escape.

I used a Groupon for one hour deep massage. There was nothing on the Groupon that said I had to split it up into two sessions but when I got there he said he could only do a half hour and I would have to come back. I didn’t have cash on me so I had to use a credit card for the tip. He made me tip him for the current session and the one I was supposed to come back for because he gets charged for each transaction. The massage was horrible. It wasn’t even hard enough to be a Swedish massage… all he did was tickle me and talk the whole time. Very unprofessional and like another reviewer said. Those with groupons should be treated with the same service… Needless to say I never came back and he kept his double tip.

I used a Groupon and was scolded by the person making my appointment and later by the masseuse for not using my Groupon sooner. In one day it would have expired. What business is it of their’s? I was told 3 times that gratuity was not included in the Groupon. The appointment maker told me, which I did not think too much about, I said«Of course». When I got to the place of business the masseuse told me a tip was not included before the session even begin. I said again, «Of course». After the session was over and I had dressed I was once again confronted by the masseuse telling me that all I needed to do was pay a tip. I said, «Excuse me?» and he repeated it. I was so taken aback at his unprofessional behavior. I don’t know how he ever has return customers. I would never NOT give a tip, so this came off as being so rude to me! I gave him a nice tip but he did not even deserve one and he did not even thank me. I would never return!

Unprofessional customer service. Although attempting to use a groupon, clients should be treated fairly and with the same level of service. If you do not leave a message, on their broken voicemail account, yet will not speak to you to schedule an appointment. Email is listed on the website as a means of contact, but looks like it is as useless as the broken voicemail service. 73% rating on groupon leaves little to be desired as well. Keep looking if you need a regular massage therapist!
