Element 5 Salon

I searched online for a salon that met a couple criteria: 1) Close to home 2) Evening hours 3) Fast appointments (for instant gratification girl) 4) Laid back not «chic» or high pressure. I narrowed it down to E5 and gave them a call. The owner answered and was immediately likable and personable and offered me an appointment the next day!
I took my ugly hair in and came out with new color and cut that was exactly what I wanted. Sharon was patient with me while I tried to explain «my vision» and gave me some good suggestions that I found useful to the end goal. She did a great job and was easy to talk to for the whole 2 hour visit. I wasn’t really price shopping but the prices were very reasonable for the service. I did purchase product but did not feel any pressure to do so.
I did notice that everyone around me (stylist and clients) seemed happy and upbeat. The lady next to me couldn’t stop smiling at her new haircut. She was over the moon with it, and it looked fantastic on her. It was her first visit too!
Overall, this place has everything I am looking for and I am glad I found them.

Sharon Nelson is awesome! Had a wonderful experience here with Sharon and so thankful I found her. I am a blonde and my hair looks better than it ever has after seeing Sharon. If you are a blonde, you know getting the perfect blonde color, that doesn’t wash out your face but doesn’t turn a brassy color can be tricky. My hair compliments my skin tone so much now it is unbelievable. So thankful to Sharon for a job well done!!!

Do not bother going here. This place does not care for anyone’s business as they never pick up their phone after calling continuously for an hour during their normal business hours. Of course, if you were to walk in, they would tell you to call for an appointment. If they can’t be bothered, what can one expect of their actual service.

Courtney did an amazing job! I love my new haircut. It’s super cute and totally my style. She really took her time to make sure it was perfect, which I really appreciate! I will definitely be back. :)

Okay so Allison is the absolute best! She is amazing and I am IN LOVE with my hair. I’ve been to her three different times with different colors that I’ve wanted (apparently I’m indecisive lol). They’ve all turned out great though. It started out with a dark shadow root w/​icey blonde, to all over blonde, & now silver! Long story short people — she’s great, but if you want a HUGE change in your hair color understand that it doesn’t happen over night usually. It can take time if you want to play it safe and not completely damage your hair in one sitting. Have patience and she will take good care of ya!

Allison the stylist there is amazing! She does an excellent job giving you exactly what you ask for! Took me a long time to find a stylist that is as great as she is! Definitely go and see her!

I made an appointment at Element 5 salon because it was a convenient location, and they were able to fit me in on short notice with Tricia for a partial highlight and cut. I absolutely love the way my hair turned out! The partial highlight was so well blended and just stunning. The cut I asked for was pretty basic and just what I wanted. I highly recommend this salon. The staff are all so nice and it is so beautiful inside. I will be going back for sure!

My old salon closed and I was looking for an Aveda salon nearby and decided to give E5 a shot. I can honestly say I will be coming back! My hair stylist was so sweet and funny, and made recommendations for my cut that I am so happy with. The owner was also super friendly, I checked in a little early and got to talk to her for a bit. Overall, this place is full of charm.
The décor is absolutely amazing, like something out of a woodsy fairytale. I hope this salon keeps up the great work, because I will be back and am sending more clients their way :)

I just moved to the area and was pleased to find an Aveda concept salon. Allison cut and styled my hair, as well as doing a color treatment which enhanced the health and color of natural look. She was talented and smart, in addition to having a friendly personality. I highly recommend her and the salon.

I love this NEW Salon in Ballantyne. Very upscale and chic salon. Courtney is my hairdresser and is so cute. She definitely knows how to cut and style hair. Easy parking in the Harris Teeter parking lot behind Big View Diner. This place is definitely worth going to.
