I am thrilled by the location of this Dunkin Donuts, right by my job. It was literally a dream come true when they opened. I go almost every day I’ll probably continue to. However… I’m pretty sure they get my order wrong(drive thru) like 75% of the time and it’s always like super weird mistakes. It’s to the point that it’s kind of comical and my coworker and I trade bizarre DD stories. One day I ordered a coffee and they gave me a hot chocolate w/a shot of espresso. Then I ordered a multigrain bagel and when I got to the window they told me they only had a half bagel left. Lol How does that even happen? They always make me repeat me order and when they say it back it’ll be nothing even close to what I said. I wonder if they can’t hear well at the drive thru because of all the traffic? I don’t know. The staff at the window are super entertaining but they seem like they have no clue what’s going on.

I love this DD, granted it could be because it’s 5 blocks from my house. The staff has always been efficient and sometimes even a little giggly and fun which I think is great at 9 o’clock in the morning. Standard fair as for the donuts and coffee although I confess I prefer DD coffee because it doesn’t have that burnt flavor and I drink it black. Drive thru can be tricky to negotiate since there are 2 tight turns and it looks like several vehicles have scraped the concrete post.

Stopped in on my way to Levine Children’s hospital the other evening to grab some coffees and couple muffins for my family who was there with my nephew. He hadn’t eaten for hours and I knew he loved muffins from DD. Walked in, ONLY customer in the store and guy walked past me three times before even saying hello. Manager walked out and saw me, said hello and walked back, most likely to tell the guy to wait on me. I asked for coffees and a couple of muffins. He looked over his shoulder and said they didn’t have any. On a rack beside him were trays full of muffins. Can I not have some from those? I asked. No, those are for tomorrow. I asked why I can’t just have some from that rack. Then he calls me an a**hole and says they are for tomorrow. I looked at the manager and said, You’re okay with this? She said We can’t sell them until tomorrow(add a little sassy tone to that). I said No, the swearing. She said, because he said A**hole? YES I said. No response. I walked out. The DD two miles away was much, MUCH better.

Worst DD I’ve ever been to. I don’t mean the employees, I hardly had any interaction with anyone, but the parking lot and traffic flow is a complete cluster****. The drive thru line was so long that I decided to park and go inside. There was no clear cut path or walkway to the entrance, you must walk directly infront of the drive thru traffic. Once inside, a note on the counter kindly informed customers that the latte machine was broken. I turned around and left, but that didn’t mean I was able to actually leave the parking lot. It took me about 5 minutes before somebody on Morehead Street let me into traffic. Only one way out of this parking lot, terrible!

Very friendly service! This DD takeover is certainly an improvement over the former crap that was located at this corner. I found the space to be welcoming and adequate for hanging out, having a latte while waiting to be seated at Pinky’s.

This recent addition to Wesley Heights takes over the former bank that has housed a hair salon, a bail bondsmen, and a tattoo shop. Perhaps all those business failed because none of them served jelly donuts. This location is like any other franchise of Dunkin Donuts, so its really hard to get above the average for the chain. They carry the full menu of breakfast & lunch items some of which I’m sure could fill in for dinner if you’re in the mood. There’s a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry but there is a parking lot & seating area if you’re not. If you decide to stop in, there’s wifi coverage from TWCWiFi and there are power sockets at the base of the upholstered bench. It should prove to be a popular dessert option when you don’t necessarily want a slice of cake from Pinky’s
