Great spot for a group outing or a sports event. I have been to this place for the World Cup for Panthers playoff games and a few other good events. Always a good crowd good mix of people and usually have a DJ. They usually have good drink deals and a full bar with a full pub style menu I would recommend this place.

I give them no stars because we never got to experience this establishment. We could never get the manager on the phone she dodged our calls and refused to return any either. I have stock in small business opportunities and this makes me want to pull it out and support something else. We moved our party to another venue that was more than willing to accommodate us and was opposite to this manager and very helpful and gracious. It feels good to be welcomed and we will repay them with reviews. And I will personally leave a review everywhere I can about how rude dilworth grille was to us. I just read their website and it says oz is their manager we were told a woman was the manager. They also have on their site a party room we were told we could not sit together and that no such thing exists. It also advertises great for parties again untrue from what we were told. We are the red hatters and there are thousands of us lets get those reviews out there.

We love this neighborhood restaurant. Food is always consistent. Fish tacos are always wonderful. Their flatbread are the kids favorites. Their buffet brunch offers something for everyone on Sunday. It is our go to restaurant for comfort and quality at a reasonable price.

Great during the week for a quick business lunch. My favorites are the Greek chicken pita and sweet potato fries. AMAZING on Sunday for Southern buffet brunch! It has everything from chicken nuggets and cheese grits to eggs Benedict and mac & cheese. And all for the bargain price of $ 18/pp! Best deal in town!

Food was not great. Service good and a lot of TVs. Do not come here for food. Maybe to watch a game or 2.

There are very few restaurants I am willing to give 5 stars to, and this grille is one of them! By far, one of the most delicious American-style dishes I have ever had! Went here today with coworkers for lunch, and was surprised with the deliciousness and wonderful service that our group was given. Ordered the blackened fish tacos with a side of seasoned broccoli. MYGOD. Perfect seasoning on both dishes, and with the perfect portion sizes! However, a coworker sitting across from me decided to go with a veggie flatbread, and that will definitely be my next dish to try. I say this because I will be back. Especially for that 10am-2pm BRUNCHBUFFET on Sundays. :p

Food was good. Great place to watch the games. Bartenders were super nice, Eli introduced himself and was very friendly. Plenty of good beers on tap. Just an all around great neighborhood bar. And the new patio is great!

This is our go to place to watch any sporting event. They have lots of TV’s and really great food. The Carne Asada tacos are one of my favorite things on this earth. I can’t bring myself to order anything different. They also have lots of great beer on tap!

I ended up here for MNF. My first time here, nice establishment. The bar staff was very nice and were always asking if I wanted anything and if everything was ok. I ordered two drinks(very reasonably priced) and the steakhouse pub nachos. They were yummy, presentation was wonderful. My only problem with the nachos is there was not enough meat. I would order again since this is the meet-up spot but I would request extra steak.

Absolutely love Dilworth! The food is great and the staff is even better. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable, perfect for a date night or dinner with a bunch of friends. While their lunch /dinner food is awesome, their Sunday brunch is hard to beat; amazing variety of breakfast food and awesome lunch choices — chicken tenders, crab cakes, etc. The outdoor area with doors that open bar to the patio really elevated the scene at Dilworth. There is a good variety of bands and fun events happening through the year. I have also been a part of large group events held down in the lower part of the restaurant and experience the same awesome food and service. They went above and beyond to make sure the group was happy and met all the needs in a timely manner. Good food, good service, GREAT spot!

Great atmosphere, clean, well lit, and the food! The food is great! My wife and I had the prime rib, my kids had the pizza and chicken… it was all delicious! Waitstaff is very attentive, Menu is well thought-out, the only downside is it was quite noisy, so we could barely hear each other speak. We were in the dining area, but there was a sports game on in the bar area, and theres not much separating the 2. Other than that, no complaints. A definite must try!

I stopped in here with the family a few weeks ago. We arrived on a Thursday night and surprisingly it was not very crowded. The nine of us were seated without a wait. Dilworth’s menu has a lot of choices that are right up my alley but I had to try the spiedies to see what all of the fuss was about. The food took a little long to come out, but that tends to be the case with larger parties so I can’t be mad; it was tolerable. I got the grilled chicken spiedies on a hoagie roll and some added cheddar(because cheese). For a side I opted for the mac and cheese(again, because cheese). What a solid choice. While I didn’t find the chicken spiedies taste to be a unique one, it was a very tender, moist, and flavor-packed sandwich, with the chicken being the star of the show. The cheese I added was good but definitely not necessary. I see why it’s served with just chicken and bread. It’s because they can, lol. The bread was toasted with a nice crunch and buttery. I’m getting hungry all over again. The side of Mac and cheese was ok too. Not on the level of the spiedies but also not disappointing. I’d get both again without hesitating. Next time I’ll be back for the buffalo chicken spiedies pizza. See you next time Dilworth’s.

I like the authenticity of a good neighborhood burger bar with outdoor seating. Nothing off the charts, but decent beers and grub in a convenient in-town location. Nothing offensive here.

The food has here has always been great and the number of TVs plus some big projector screens has always made it a great place to watch a game. Many alumni groups use this as their gathering place on game days including the University of Tennessee. I am a huge fan of the Chicken Spedie Pie(pizza) and the Black Bean Burger. They also have a delicious pizza fritters dessert and pretty good wings. The new patio is amazing and will make this an even better place to gather and watch game. While thei parking lot is not huge, there are several areas nearby to park. I wish they were a little more clear and comforting on their website though on where you might and might not get towed. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star for me is that the service is pretty spotty. Most of the time it’s okay but I’ve been a few times where it has been downright awful including twice where they forgot to put my order in during game.

Dilworth Neighborhood Grille has really stepped up their game with their expanded patio and outdoor bar. Dilworth has always been a favorite happy hour spot for my coworkers because it is close to Uptown and has parking. When I lived in Dilworth, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille was basically an extension of my house because it’s convenient, fast, affordable, open late, and has some delicious pub grub. Service is typically on the slow side, so don’t go in a hurry. The only other negative is that their beer list is, in my humble opinion, lacking. They have a surprisingly small list of local beers on tap, which is kind of a bummer!

Was here for a late lunch. The place was empty in the back. Most of the patrons were sitting outside at the patio for it was a gorgeous day. Our waiter, Alejandro was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with certain items listed on the menu. He provided exceptional service and came back several times to see if the food was to our liking. Asked him about other ethnic food, and he provided options. Ordered the Western Burger and made to my specification of well done. Just the way I like it. No it was not a hockey puck. The fries were thinly sliced and tasty not with that greasy after taste. My friend ordered the Steak Spiedie which he enjoyed cause he from NY and brings back memories. I tried a piece of the Steak and reminds me of Beef Kabob. LOL…

Sorry in advance for the really long review! I really wish I could give Dilworth Neighborhood Grille more stars, but after last night we won’t be back. We have been patrons of DNG for the last 4 or so years as they are the bar for UT alumni and their football games. I do not understand why UT has not received the memo that it is time to look for another bar, most other schools have — Uga, Auburn, wva, Msu, and others have all left. It is now only UT and NCSU, as far as I know, which says a lot if a lot of groups are leaving. I will say that DNG is a nice spot to grab a bite to eat when an event or alumni/team group is not there. We like their food and have had a lot of their menu items, although disappointed they changed their menu last year and took off our favorite item. The housemade buffalo chips are great! My issue? When they have a large showing like us UT fans, they are NEVER prepared and do not have enough servers — usually only 2 – 3 servers. It has not changed from year to year. Last night was no different and our server was the worst we have had. We(5 of us) were greeted early on, but then there was a long wait to get our drinks. Kevin’s sweet tea came first, then eventually my bar drink came, then eventually the other two bar drinks came(after finally being told that they were out of one beer), and finally a diet coke. It was probably another 20 – 30 minutes before she came back to take our order. The three others with us had their dinner served to them 10+ minutes before the sandwich that Kevin and I were sharing came out. When she finally came by to check on us, Kevin asked for a refill on sweet tea. She checked on us about 3 more times before finally coming back with a refill of unsweet tea… Took awhile for her to come back for us to notify her about the mistake. Again took a couple reminders to get sweet tea. I wish I was off, but it took around 40 – 50 minutes before she finally got the sweet tea refill. She told the manager how bad she was and he came by to offer a beer or dessert for him, but we were not interested at the time. How about offer the sweet tea on the house, instead of charging us for it?!? We decided 5 minutes before half we wanted to leave at half. Since she had not come by our table in awhile we sent one of our people to track her down to pay. She got two out of the three checks and asked if the third person wanted their check… really? She did not return and we had to again ask her for the third check. Halftime was over before we finally paid out. Beyond that, they need more tv’s. Having only 4 – 5 in a dining area is pretty crappy for a sports bar. DNG needs to get more servers or get backups to just come around to help with refills or make sure people have what they need. They have yet to fix this issue each year, it is no different each game. We enjoy going to be with other ut fans, but it is not worth it when they can’t handle a crowd. I’m disappointed we brought our guests to a place like this. Goodbye DNG!

When I am stay in Charlotte it is usually to work the Grand Prix swim meet in May. This is the USA Swimming Officials hang out since it’s just a few blocks away from the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center. As a matter of fact this Dilworth Neighborhood Grille has been a sponsor of the Grand Prix Swim Meet for several years. Dilworth has there own private lot and when really busy I am unsure where customers park, it must be challenged. I never see any debris in the lot and it always seems like things are tidy on the exterior of the building. I can honestly say after repeated visits there is a high level of consistency in both food and service. I have not had a poor service, or meal that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. The tap beer selection is solid with variety of NC Craft, IPA and domestics. The atmosphere is fun and pub like around the bar. The dining room is more restaurant like and is suitable for children as they do have a kids menu. The adult menu is what you would pretty much expect and pub like with sandwiches and burgers. There are dinner dishes as well, but I have never tried them. They have some tasty appetizers like wings too. It is not uncommon for large parties, banquets etc. to book here. They can accommodate a large party with special rooms and this usually does not distract from the customer service experience. However, on my last day in Charlotte a wedding party of around 30 hit the bar at once. It appeared to be a challenge, but I did not see where they could not handle. I would encourage you to give Dilworth Neighborgood Grille a try if you have never experienced. I personally am a fan and will be back the next time in the area.
