Charlotte Optometric Eye Clinic

I’ve been wearing glasses for a long time and I have never had as many issues as I have had here. Most of the staff is nice enough but the dates were wrong on my prescription (which is deceiving and bad for insurance purposes) and, when asked for an accurate date, it became a few day event. What should’ve taken a minute took a lot longer. On top of that, I had to explain what I needed (my accurate date) several times over for them to «get it». Ended up having to get another eye exam on the spot to settle everything and even then the system they were using posts that day’s date and not the date of the exam on prescriptions.
The gentleman working with the actual glasses was pleasant but was not as easy to work with. I purchase two pair of glasses per year for the past few years and I knew what I wanted. He had a hard time comprehending that at times and didn’t keep accurate records. I waited almost two months for frames I should’ve had in a week.
All in all, not a bad place if it is your first eye exam or pair of glasses. The prices were fair but their selection of frames is average and perhaps a bit below average. I had them order in a pair I found online because many of their frames are similar to each other. I’m definitely on the hunt for a different optometrist.
