I had the worst experience ever with this company from the day I seen the house to the day I left the house. Communication with anyone was nearly impossible.
The day I seen the home it was still occupied by a renter. With me being in the property management business myself I knew things should not look then as they will when you move in.
I put in my application and was approved for the property. I mailed in my security deposit e-​signed the lease. Old tenants were scheduled to move out the end of April. They told us we couldn’t move in until the first week of May so they could get the house ready. The day we moved in I picked up my keys around 8:30−9. I was given the old tenants keys back the locks were never changed out. (which is illegal) I got to the house walked around the kitchen was still nasty (all appliances) blinds broke 4 of them, garage door not working, grass to our knees, bathroom shower had Mildew growing, toilets didn’t flush, the house outside needed to be pressure washed and carpets with stains. I tried calling the office to voice my concerns no one would answer nor call me back. I proceeded to email the lady that contacted me about the lease she was the only one that would reply and voiced all my concerns to her. I gave her the list of issues and asked why it wasn’t done before I moved in. She told me the old tenants should have done it before they moved out. I asked how come her company did not make sure themselves it was rent ready. Why did I have to walk into that? NO I’M SORRY, nothing. Could not give any reasonable answer as to why the repairs were not done or why the house wasn’t cleaned.
The day I moved out 2 years later I was told the house was left in excellent condition that I could have easily left it like I received it and thanked me for not leaving it that way. I called in a repair two weeks before I moved out. 3 days after I turned in my keys I got a call to schedule an appointment to come out and fix it. WOW.

Painful to work with — will never respond to your emails or phone calls
Represents tenants more than homeowners
Moved my business from them after completely losing faith in them.

I am a property owner in Charlotte NC. I have this company for a rental property I have in Charlotte NC. The rent payments consistently get to me after the 15^th of the month (even after signing up for direct deposit). Additionally, I have to arrange for my own maintenance person because they use expensive vendors and have a policy to send someone out for issues under $ 300 without your approval. I would not recommend this company. I believe they are very unprofessional.
The comment below is completely untrue. I am sent an email every time my tenants pay. They have never paid late. Again, more unprofessional behavior by this company.

I’ve been using Carolinas Metro Realty for a little over 2 years and they’ve really taken the burden of renting my home off of me.
Specifically, I’ve been working with Sean Garcia who has demonstrated a very eager and positive attitude to always solve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Dealing with tenants can be a sticky situation and he has always maintained poise and kept a positive and helpful attitude. He even took his own personal time to wait at the home for a service man to make a repair in order to delay the resolution since the tenant couldn’t be there.
I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to rent your home, especially if you live somewhere where you can’t attend to the home in a timely fashion.

I have had the opportunity to work with Carolinas Metro Realty several times now through out the years. I highly recommend them they have helped a friend with a short sale, and I recently have hired them for the property management of my house in Charlotte.
The staff and owner Yuriy are so friendly and easy to work with. They get back to me immediately with any concerns I might have and have answered all my questions (and trust me I had a lot) when it came to my house.
My house was rented immediately after they took it over and I know that it’s in good hands. The best part is they have taken all the worry away from me as a homeowner now landlord. I don’t have to worry about a thing and I know my house is in good hands.
