I don’t live in the Charlotte area now, but still travel there several times a year. Two years ago, I desperately needed to get a more updated hairdo. Laura, who is now at Alloy, did a haircut that is easy to care for and brought my 65-year-old self into the 21^st century. I never got compliments on my former hair style but do now. Since the original cut, she has also colored my hair to hide the grey. It looks very natural and I love it. I seek out Laura every time I am in Charlotte. If I need a cut in between trips, I tell the local stylist to trim but not change the «do!» So glad I found Laura and now Alloy! I only use Paul Mitchell products and Alloy is a PM salon.

I was dismayed to learn Chris Franklin had moved from his midtown location to Carmel Rd. SInce I’d follow him anywhere, I went to his new salon, and was delighted with what I found. Its an eclectic mix of salon services and tattoo art. The atmosphere is easygoing, relaxed and entertaining. I got my favorite hairdo ever, trimmed to perfection and the fine company of Chris and his wife Laura. I highly recommend Alloy Tattoo and Salon to any and everyone.
