Food was great, except the She Crab soup was warm, not hot, even after the waiter voluntarily served up another cup. Our waiter, though, was very attentive and earned his tip. But the manager on duty needed additional tips on customer service: we’ve never ever been asked whether we thought 1 ½ hour would be enough time for us to eat because someone had reserved the seats we were being seated in! In addition, not once did he come by to see how ‘things were’ although he visited tables around us. After this treatment from management and after spending $ 160+ on a meal for 5, we’ll spend our money elsewhere the next time!

The salmon salad is to die for! The lemon dressing is good and the sweet tea is amazing!

Cold beer great location, too bad the food was not a bit more charlestoney. I think this place would be better if it were a gastropub with really cool sandwiches and better appetizers(however I think it is a chain). The beer selection was cool local craft beer and was cold and the location was under the Double tree we were staying at, so it was stop number one on the trip. It was not bad; but it only got better from there.

So I came here because I wanted Kaminski’s, but I was also a bit hungry. I tried the dip trio and it was less than likeable. I really didn’t enjoy it at all. We asked for more chips and did get them, but I just snacked on the chips and not the dips. I also got the crab soup and that was very good! I don’t think that I would return here, because there was nothing that really stood out to me. Especially when I could go someplace else and get the same thing that tastes better. The service was good, and our server always made sure we had plenty to drink even when she had an 8 party table get seated. If my friends asked me to go I would go back, but I wouldn’t suggest it. I’d suggest anything else.

Came twice in one weekend! Great selection, good music and not too crowded. Enjoyed both visits and she crab soup is delicious!

Waitress wanted to argue that my burger would come pink or charred — that medium well didn’t mean«no pink, no char». Steak and ribs were great and the service was good but don’t make me feel like a diva for wanting my meal prepared a certain way please. BTW I got my burger with no pink and no char.

Ate here for dinner last week while on my honeymoon and it was the best steakhouse! Great service, good food and great environment :)

These guys did a great job. I wouldn’t consider this a five star restaurant because of food quality or interior atmosphere but because of the SERVICE and timeliness. They seemed to genuinely care where we were from, how we liked Chuck, etc. I got the she crab soup, it was filling yet not too chunky and the calamrai was a little undercooked but not too chewy. Loved the spicy orange sauce! My dad loved his steak salad and my brother’s burger fulfilled his craving(it was huge!)This has been one of my family’s favorites for years, so glad I was finally able to experience it for myself

Awesome staff! So charming and hospitable. The double fried chicken wings were amazing. Fried Green Tomatoes with bacon jam hit the spot. Local brewed wheat beer with an orange slice is the way to go… save room for dessert at Kaminsky’s next door and go for the warmed mixed berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top. Then hit the gym.

I was visiting from Chicago and a shop down the street from this location recommended this place for drinks and food. We went for a light lunch and a couple of cocktails. The server was friendly and the service was moderately fast. I just was not impressed with the food. We ordered a Caesar salad, fried pickles and seafood dip. You could tell the seafood dip was not fresh. I felt like it was frozen and then heated up. And the tortilla chips were stale. The rest was just okay. If you’re visiting the area, I wouldn’t recommend it for high quality food.

We stumbled upon this place after getting off of the hotel shuttle. The service here was really good. The managers came by and checked on us multiple times. I ordered the Market Chicken and Shrimp. The chicken was a little too charred for me and I didn’t really like the sauce on the shrimp and chicken, but other than that, all my food was good. I really enjoyed the fried okra, and the people I was with really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. I would come back here again.

Service was awesome. Good was typical chain bar food. I had nachos for which the waitress was kind enough to suggest braised beef. Very good suggestion. The desserts from Kaminisky’s looked delicious but I was too full to try anything.

They have a devoted gluten free menu! I had grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. My meal was very good and the staff very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Great prices and wide selection.

This place is decent. Our food was pretty good, although two of the steaks were definitely overdone. They were nice enough about replacing them and gave us salads while we waited. I had the smokehouse burger which was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive. You probably won’t have a bad experience here, but there are much better places in the area for the price!

I arrived downtown for a meeting and needed a quick place to grab a bite. This seemed like a good place. I had heard good things about T-Bonz. Maybe it was because I was a «just» a party of one or maybe it just isn’t that great of a place, but I left T-Bonz thinking I didn’t want to go back. The food was okay but not spectacular. The service was abysmal. I’d like to give them another try and make sure that my review stands. This was not a necessarily bad experience, but I was also unimpressed. I promise to revise when I revisit them.

Have been to this location twice now. We went in for lunch both times and got their T Bonz Texas Melt. It’s not what it says in the menu when it describes a melt with«shaved prime-rib.» It’s an actual full size steak that they try to fold and fit into a hoagie roll, not a melt at all. It’s ridiculously difficult to eat and not very tasty to tell the truth. Their food does not seem very fresh at all. After not being very impressed the first time we figured we would give it another shot and was once again met with the same dissatisfaction. There are definitely better places to eat downtown. We won’t be going back.

They tried and it was a good effort. I WOULD recommend this to others, although we had a couple snafus during our visit. I truly appreciate the staff and managers attempt to correct our visit. I called ahead for reservations and of course was late keeping them, but they still held our table. Nachos were properly stacked(Yes! don’t you just hate it when all the toppings don’t get to the middle and bottom and you’re stuck with half a plate of plain chips?) and filling. The steaks were good, one was severely under cooked, but he was willing to eat it instead of sending it back. I had a fantastic syrah that was more memorable than my chicken — or was it salmon?(What do you want from me? My family loves red meat and I don’t!). We ordered dessert to split between 4 people. We ordered the brownie, but got something with cookies; which was good, just not what we ordered. There were a couple other mix ups, but all corrected. I’m writing this almost a month later and recalling our experience as a pleasant one. If I’m ever in Charleston again I would go back. The décor was pretty cool — fake distressed walls, a Moona Lisa and other silly-themed pieces of cow art, dark woods, some non-tacky kitsch and big booths so you have a bit more privacy.

My first time visiting Charleston, SC and I have enjoyed every minute. The food and people have been amazing… Well until I walked into T-Bonez. To make this short– my gf ordered a drink, we turn around and some frat boys had tampered with it. We asked the female bartender to remake bc we think they had done something to it. She said of course I will remake it. 5mins later we get the bill and she charged us for remaking the drink… WTF. U agreed to remake bc of the«questionable» situation and then charge us for it. What made it better was when I asked her about the charge she said, «it’s not my fault, I’m not your babysitter»… Talk about southern hospitality. Was planning on coming back there until this sh*t treatment. Will never be back and tell everyone the same.
