Generally we like to check out the local joints but we were qith friends and this is what they chose. Sticky Fingers is like any other average chain restaurant. Mostly predictable, average food, and service. We were seated and served quickly, despite the SEWE crowd. We ordered loaded potato skins and fried pickles for appetizers. The potato skins were loaded with pulled pork. This Kentucky girl can get down with some pulled pork. Yum. They were out of children’s menus but the server was able list all the options off for the two kids to choose from. The adults all ordered burgers. They weren’t the best by any means but I’ve also had worse. The Memphis burger didn’t have much BBQ sauce on it like you would have expected.

We were visiting Charleston and came to Sticky Fingers looking for good BBQ. It is very good BBQ, great beer, and friendly efficient service. Bailey was a very good and friendly server. We both had the Ribs and pulled pork combo. The portions were large, and the side dish portions were large too. I enjoyed the Classic Carolina Mustard sauce the best and bought a bottle of it to bring home. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Good place to come for some good ol southern food and ribs. I really enjoyed it. The variety of food including the Mac n cheese are delish. My friends kid even bought a t-shirt there to remember the experience. We were there on vacation. Friendly staff too. Can’t beat it.

‘Ello chaps! I may make some enemies saying this, but I truly didn’t think there was a way to top Texas BBQ — well Sticky Fingers has done it. My mate and I popped in to the Famous Sticky Fingers on Meeting Street — need proof it’s famous? Check out the photos and letters on the walls. Ordered up the beef brisket and it was some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. Hot, and it just melted like butter. This place is the new home for finger lickin’ good food. This place is one of the best restaurants in all of Charleston! A must not miss restaurant.

This place was a good spot for a filling lunch. While we had better barbecue in Charleston, this place was just right for a quiet lunch on a rainy day. Chicken wings were delicious – meaty, perfectly fried, and without sauce meant we could try each one at the table. Same for pulled meat sandwiches – order dry to make your own bbq sauce blend table side :) Fries were okay and drinks were quickly refilled. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, we had a good experience here, but probably wouldn’t return. Food was good, but not great.

Don’t bother– keep walking! Cheese fries were way over cooked. Manager mentioned taking care of them for us, by they remained on the bill. We paid for them, whatever. Service was extremely slow(with lots of open tables), chicken sandwich had us laughing — the breast was seriously 3“x3″.

Loved the towel as napkins. The sauce selection was expansive and great. BBQ was great. Brisket dinner was great. Very disappointed that they were out of bread pudding.

The smocked chicken wings, which are flash fried for a little crispness, were to die for… ordered 6 in the beginning and ended up with another round or two of them! Tip: take the varying BBQ sauces and add to each wing per bite, the flavor is unreal! Customer service was clearly a top priority and next time I’m in Charleston I will be back, thanks!

Who would think that a chain like this would have good food. Being in the downtown area, I figure they must. Good place for a quick bite. The BBQ ribs are fantastic. You have your choice of sauces. Staff is ok and attentive. The place is also nice. I thought the tables could have been a little cleaner as well as the floors, but maybe the cleaning crew had not been there as yet. I’ve been there a few times and it is the same, no changes. Like I said good quick food stop to fill your stomach. Frank G

Admittedly, we did not have a large meal; rather, we had appetizers. I had the fried pickles, and my husband had the pork sliders. They were wonderful! The fried pickles had a bit of a spicy bite to them. Lovely! Our server was very sweet and attentive. Overall, we were very satisfied with our choice.

Pleasant staff. But overly proud of their product. Sauces are mediocre at best. Variety is nice but they don’t have one sauce that’s exceptional. Food lacks flavor, taking on that chain mindset. Serving mediocre product yet scaling it at decent price.

Service was good but a little slow. We were there on a Monday early evening. Waiter knew his stuff and gave us good information. 2 of us ordered the half rack of ribs(house special). Lets just say one rack was from a large pig the other was from a piglet!!! The waiter was asked about this. He apologized and talked to the manager, who came out with a replacement ½ rack. I was given a story about how racks are cut up etc. ‚(replacement was still smaller then pig size, but fresher and juicer then the first) Not falling for that. There is better out there with in a ½ mile. I gave you guys 3 chances! I won’t be back.

My coworker and I walked into Sticky Fingers after our first choice restaurant was closed. I sure am glad it was closed, otherwise we never would have come in here. I’m not super big on BBQ but this was some of the best I’ve had. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with fries. I was slightly disappointed with the size of the sandwich, but I had more than enough fries to make up for it. The sandwich came without sauce so I was a bit nervous when choosing which of the five sauces to use. I chose the Memphis Original and was pleasantly surprised. It was smoky and a little sweet and just perfect. The fries were a great addition. They were seasoned so well that I almost felt guilty for dipping them in ketchup. My coworker got the ribs with a dry rub. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and she said she could eat here everyday of our trip because it was so amazing. The service was good and I thought the prices were fair. I will definitely come back on my next trip. I’ll probably get the same BBQ sandwich because it was so good but I might try the Mac and cheese to see what the reviews are raving about.

This was the best southern comfort food we ate during our weekend in Charleston! As a vegetarian and gluten-free customer, I left full and satisfied too — their nachos were good but their sweet potato bake was even better! Of course, my fiancé had a much larger pick — he got the sampler plate and really enjoyed his smoked meats. Service was friendly, environment was casual, and our lunch here was a success.

We came because a friend told us this place was famous. I must admit that being from Georgia, we came in picky but open-minded. They had us at $ 3 Mimosa or Bloody Mary specials all day till close(1am). Fellow Unilocalers posted about similar drink specials and Sticky Fingers did not disappoint. The Mimosa was your basic champagne glass with champagne and juice. The Bloody Mary was not my favorite. I prefer them with extra A-1 or Worcestershire Sauce, other places make them extra spicy. This place did neither, they had their own recipe but it was very bland to me. TIP: my date got the Palmetto Pale local brew, it went perfectly with the BBQ meats. I opted for the Brisket($ 16) with fried corn on cob and sweet potato casserole. Oh my it was delicious. 3 thick slices with a teensy bit of fat(gotta have fat) and 2 sides. It was seasoned just right where the flavor of the meat is not overpowered but you taste the smokey goodness too. I opted for the Memphis Original SAuce since it wasn’t too sweet like the others and I added the Sweet Southern Heat for a little kick. Everyone on Unilocal raves about the fried corn on the cob which is seasoned and grilled for seconds on each side. It was too salty for me. The sweet potato casserole however was amazing! Sweet and chunky with a hint of nuts. Rib sampler($ 26) with fried corn on the cob and baked beans. As everyone says, get the sampler if you can’t pick one type of rib. It came with the Sweet Southern Heat, Memphis Original and a Dry Rub. The heat was perfectly made with not too much spicy that it burns your mouth but instead has a heat to it that you can feel in the back of your throat. Very aptly named. The Dry Rub was not too salty but just the right seasoning where it didn’t need more sauce(unless you love sauce) and the flavor of the meat was enhanced just right. My date thought the corn was just ok. The beans where ok too. Overall we liked the sauces and meats which is why we came. We may not have loved the side but that just means we have more to try and prefer later. This place is great for a few drink with friends, a date or when you’re just plain hungry.

This is probably my new go-to spot in Charleston for quick grub. No frills just some of the best BBQ you will ever put in your mouth. Yes it’s a chain, but should we really punish it for being successful? If you’re considering a starter, the fried pickles are a winner, served with a BBQ ranch sauce that will make you wonder why you’ve never mixed those two sauces yourself. As for the entrée, I have one word for you: Ribs. If you’re not sure what style you like the best, get the sampler. If you haven’t had one of the styles, get the sampler. If you love deliciously cooked, finger licking ribs, get the sampler. The corn on the cob is fried to perfection and is quite possibly the best corn on the cob I’ve ever had– I don’t give that honor out lightly either. The Mac and Cheese is also a good sub for sides if you don’t care for baked beans and coleslaw like myself. Pair all this que with the local craft Palmetto Pale or Amber. Amber is the only one they have on draft but they will be happy to bring you a glass for the Pale.

A perfectly A-ok place to grab dinner. The bartender, Ronnie, was informative and polite. He suggested the fried corn on the cob which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this as a side. The rib sampler for two was large and came with four side dishes of your choice. The rib meat was delicate and juicy, it fell off the bone nicely. But the item I will be returning for are the wings. Smoked and flash fried, they didn’t even need sauce. The flavor was smokey, salty, and like the ribs, the meat fell off the bone. The restaurant itself was clean, the music was good, the service and food were great. Highly recommended this establishment to anyone looking for a casual and filling dinner in Charleston.

Friendly staff. Lunch small portions. Kids menu only came with 2 chicken strips and 1 side for $ 5. Ordered ribs — it was dry and difficult to cut with knife. Service was ok. Forgot straw for a refill and had to remind server about one refill. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are other BBQ places for same price.

On our way into Charleston we got a little turned around and landed in the parking lot of a BBQ restaurant that smelled AMAZING. After that, all we could think about was BBQ. So when it came time for a late lunch we used Unilocal and found Sticky Fingers in Downtown Charleston. We lucked out because they were closing early that day for a private event and got there with just an hour to spare. My mom and I decided that we would split a meal since we’d be having a pretty big dinner later that evening. We split the pulled pork sandwich and fries. We told the waiter we planned to split it and when our food came out it was on two separate plates. I really like that they did that without having to ask. The sandwich and fries was the perfect amount for us to share. The fries were crispy, their sauces were good, and the pork was nice and tender. it was just what we needed to satisfy our BBQ craving. We also found a coupon for a free dessert while we were eating and were able to use that. We tried their peach cobbler with ice cream and it was amazing. Unfortunately we were too full to finish it, but it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
