Papa John’s Pizza

Rude staff every time I visit this location. The young girl behind the counter clearly has no communication skills and is never too pleasant. If only I didn’t love Papa Johns in general I would quit coming. Hands down the worst location I’ve been to. I was also told it would cost 6 dollars to add one more topping. LOL OK

What an interesting experience today at one of our dozens of Papa Johns around the low country.
I ordered a large 1 topping split into half pepperoni and half black olives. (Yes, it sounds like a pain to do this, but it’s for my kids)
I «Tried» to use a large 1 coupon. The lady charged me for a large 2 topping and wouldn’t take my coupon.
I explained that I ordered a 1 topping split in half however she was quite adamant that I was wrong and it was considered 2 toppings. The coupon was for $ 7.99. She did offer to charge lower to $ 13. Really?! She was quite unprofessional and rude.
My first experience with any pizza place who charged me for two toppings when I ordered 1 topping split up into halves and wouldn’t accept my coupon. Also, the first time I left… I went to Marcos down the street instead.
Recommendation: staff should take a Service and Hospitality course and don’t argue with customers over 5 dollars.

I placed my order FOR DELIVERY, waited over an hour for someone to call me and tell me my pizza was ready to be picked up. I corrected them and told them that I asked for it to be delivered, and then proceeded to wait– eventually I got tired of waiting and just decided to cancel the order. Called back and they put me ON HOLD for over 10 minutes. They have ONE JOB– fast, cheap, delivery pizza– and they can’t even do it.

Great pizza! But they almost always forget the drinks and tell you there’s no way to refund you if you paid online. They don’t go get them either. But pizza is still great.

My pizza place of choice! Absolutely love the fast and friendly service. I’ve been eating here for a few years now and every place is entitled to a few mistakes but this location is so quick to fix whatever mixs up are made. Love love love it!

Would recommend his Pappa johns location. Picked up our pizzas and it was ready on time as promised it would be. Pizza was pipping hot and very delicious. Love the garlic dipping sauce and bread sticks as well.

Ordered online — the confirmation email said it would be 70 – 80 minutes until delivery. Pizzas arrived steaming hot and perfect in about 50 minutes.
Two large 3-​toppings for $ 20 isn’t bad… good for kids and leftovers. True, Papa Johns isn’t the world’s best, but when you don’t feel like cooking and you are already «in» for the night, delivery is what is called for!

I’ve always loved Papa John’s until now. The guy that took my order on the phone as well as rang me up in store had no customer service ability whatsoever. He clearly did not care about me or my business. I was happy that they finished my order so quickly, but the service and the quality of the food left something to be desired. The pizza was okay at best. If I decide to go back, it will definitely be a while. As far as chain pizza restaurants go, Dominoes it is!

Better to pick up on weekends. Waited over an hour after email confirmed 40 – 50 minutes for delivery and pizzas arrived cold. Had to microwave before eating.

Literally THE BEST Papa Johns pizza that I have ever had. I ordered online– which is so convenient, fast and simple with plenty options. Our delivery was prompt and within the time frame that we were given. A friendly face and our hot pizza was delivered to the door in which we specified on our «special» delivery instructions. The boxes were hot and so was the pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection as were the breadsticks, soft and warm! Our condiments were organized very neatly inside of our boxes and in small plastic resealable cups opposed to being wrapped in tin foil (which was nice)!! This will definitely be the only Papa Johns that I order from in West Ashley from now on!
