UPDATE: Went back to McDonald’s today to satisfy my craving for fries. The line at the drive thru finally nudged along enough that I could place my order. As I was halfway through, the girl cut me off and gave me my total. I said that I wasn’t finished, I wanted something else as well. She had an attitude and barked at me to «hold on a minute». I did. I waited another two minutes in silence and she never returned to complete my order. Frustrated, I left. With so many other fast food options within a few minutes drive, McDonald’s would do well to tighten their service before they lose all their patrons.

I stopped in this morning to try out their new white hot chocolate. Of course, the drive thru is a thousand cars long, so I decided to walk in. Once inside, there was no line, but somehow there was also no one to help me. Once I did get someone’s attention, she struggled to ring up my order(a medium WHC). I understand that it’s a new item and they may not be familiar with its location on the POS system yet, but I don’t think that means you should yell to every other employee(and ask where the wrong item is in doing so(WHC Mocha)) to find out. A few other people came in and also ordered drinks, so I stepped back out of the way. I saw her put a(my) drink on the counter, but didn’t look towards us or anything to make sure the right person grabbed it. Thank goodness these things are ridiculously hot or mine might have been too cold to drink once she finally summoned me. I can’t vouch for anything else, but my service in the past(drive thru) has not been awesome.

The customer service was interesting. I had to get in the girls face while ordering because her attention was clearly not on me and she seemed to keep forgetting that I was there. My fruit and Oatmeal and coffee was good. My son said his chicken biscuit was good but it was so dark I asked him if it was burnt. His hash brown patty was also slightly underdone. Mgmt. needs to get things under control.

We arrived at this drive-thru at 10:29 a.m., and as we ordered our breakfast items, the clock rolled over to 10:30. We were told that we could only order lunch items. We asked what time breakfast was served until, and were told until 10:30. We then repeated our request for 4 hash browns, and were told we couldn’t get them. The cashier was very rude, and it’s ridiculous that they couldn’t accommodate our simple request at the time we made it. We will never go to this McDonalds location again.
