The worst place to work at with poor management and poor team cooperation. The new manager(Joel Carmona) lacks the assertiveness of a general manager by teaching his employees on basics of team work, communication, stability, and patience. He would rather complain about an employee failing a task in which he did not take the time to instruct and dedicate his time to teaching and helping, than to encourage his employees on a more self efficient way of being cooperative and HAPPY to being eager to want to work. The management system of training is REAL pathetic with you learning more on your own than you learning by a team leader who knows what their doing by years of experience than a few months. You are playing yourself just by having employees teaching you because they will teach you different things that are not the TRUE standards of working at KFC/Tacobell. The team environment is really weird and wishy-washy at times of more playing around than being professional at a place that is handling food that can have a cross contamination if not handled seriously. Sales haves dropped 20−40% in a few months due to the management of KFC/Tacobell on spring street with employees not making orders correct, employees quitting, harsh management thats un-professional, no good audit reputations, wasting food, customer complaints and No positivity of team work. The environment is disgusting as far the cleanliness and you don’t get a chance clean unless you waste at least 2 – 4 meals of dropping due to rushing and not getting the order right. The morning and day time shifts are much more cleaner than night time shift. Employees at KFC/Tacobell are more like childish than being mature and the drama along with arguments at most of time have nothing to deal with the restaurant, but personal problems towards employees. The benefits working at Kfc/Tacobell really don’t matter unless you just get 50% your food purchase and thats it as far as good benefits. The foid that they prepare like: macaroni and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes and baked beans are stored by 2 days and are frequently thrown away at night 30 minutes till closing. Nothing is prepared fresh unless you ask«batch» of chicken or other foods that are prepared. They say that this the only Kfc/Tacobell franchise in the city of Charleston, but if this true you might as well just be lieing to yourself when you think this is the best place to get eat or work, because it is NOT. Unless this Kfc/Tacobell wants to be best and not just the only one due to the convenience of being the only Kfc/Tacobell in city if Charleston, they need to improve on EVERYTHING.
