Hey, .for a «WAFFLE HOUSE». as Good as it gets… EXCELLENT

1^st thing = CLEAN, CLEAN,…you have to LOVE that in a WH
For all intents and purposes, place is BRAND NEW
…gotta LOVE that too
GREAT GRUB…“just what the Doctor ordered”…
…COMFORT FOOD, WH style
…I love to have BREAKFAST in am, for Lunch, and for Dinner
…and that folks. is all YOU need /​want to know, right ?
Just to be fair, I have one «dink»…my coffee could be hotter, but then I do like mine HOT !
(p.s. – yes, there was a time period, when this spot first opened, that this joint did not have its’ «Act» together… largely due to untrained, brand new staff/​employees of WH… and the place suffered some bad ratings on Unilocal… and they were likely deserved… BUT…it’s ALL GOOD now… the service and the folks on the grill have got it going… so TRY IT NOW … and /​or TRY IT AGAIN… for the very 1^st time…)…

First impressions are very important, and not only was this Waffle House impeccably clean, but the staff all greeted us warmly upon entering the establishment. The second reason for this 5-​star rating is our server, Shanaya. She was awesome! She checked in on us regularly and before leaving the check, asked if we were «ready» for the check. Other establishments similar to the Waffle House may just leave the check, whether you’re ready for it or not. This location should be commended for their superb customer service.

I come here every now and then for lunch or dinner. Pretty standard as far as Waffle Houses go. Cheap food, quick and friendly service– I can’t complain.

It’s so good I’d come here for a first date. Then I’d make my girl jealous because I’ll flirt with the beautiful employees.
Oh the food? FREAKIN BOMB. Makes me feel alive. Like I can take on anything. I feel like a healthy rhino

Bad service lazy waitresses. Got no refills waitress was bad. I suggest drive a few miles to a better one.

Please please please never come here. I hate leaving super bad reviews and I hate rating chain restaurants but my experience was so obnoxiously noxious that I am about to post a power tripping bad review.
Where to begin? First we were told that they only had one sweet tea left so two of my party were asked to switch to juice. No problem, kinda bad to not have iced tea but it happens. Not five min later the table behind me was told they only have one ice tea available for them.
Also we ordered waffles. Apparently they ran out of mix which we were informed of about twenty minute in and we ended up waiting an hour for the sub average waffles they serve anyway.
Also my order was wrong and the server didn’t acknowledged it and just walked away without a resolution. I don’t expect five star service, but it was so egregiously brow raising behavior that I wanted to note it.

At this Waffle House, I’ve found what seems to be consistent at all the Waffle House locations I’ve visited: friendly employees, quick service and delicious, but inexpensive food. I am very pleased, and would highly recommend this location.

Sure, it’s not meant to be a 5 star restaurant. I would never expect it to be. But I definitely did NOT expect what happened at this Waffle House location.
My dad was very excited to try this Waffle House because he didn’t believe new Waffle Houses ever opened up since we only find old ones. However, if this is what all new Waffle Houses are like, count me out. Our whole party walked away disgusted.
Just take a peek behind the counter and you’ll understand our feelings. The dirt, trash, and grim in the kitchen area is appalling. I could not believe how bad it was. Even most of the tables were dirty when we walked in. The waitress took the time to explain that it had been a busy day and they did not have time to clean… except we were the only ones in there and that kitchen area could not have gotten that bad in one day.
The staff there is extremely «laid back»… Actually, let’s just call it what it is. L-​A-​Z-​Y. I’m also fairly sure I saw them giving out free food to their friends.
But I guess I can’t fault them for that. The food was good as always (silver lining to every cloud).
TL;DR: Never. Never. Never again.

Terrible service. The waitress didn’t even fake a smile and didn’t hesitate to express her resentment to a 15% tip…

Really disappointed by this place. Admittedly I only had a pecan waffle with chocolate chips but it cost 25c for the chocolate chips and I had barely 25 of them on the waffle. 1c a chocolate chip? Really? Also, I don’t really call this chocolate given how it tasted like chemicals or genetically modified organism chocolate. Nevertheless, the waffle was undercooked and I don’t get why. The waffles are supposed to be cooked for 3min30 and mine (+others) had only been cooked for 2min30. In result, it wasn’t as crispy as it should have been.
They also offer a peach waffle, but there is no actual piece of peach in the waffle, only a chemical flavor.
There are numerous employees but most of them seemed to be bored to death

VERY UNSANITARY! The cooks do use gloves to handle raw food, however, one cook never took his gloves off after handling raw chicken and then touched glasses, other food, etc. without changing gloves. Gross!
Also, the waitress we had moved like a turtle in peanut butter. 25 minutes for hashbrowns? REALLY? Get it together, ladies.
HOWEVER, everybody had a full set of teeth :)

Oh Waffle house, home of the South…
…more like hood of the South! Go to IHOP unless you’re willing to get your order to go.
The good:
Mmmmmm pecan waffles!
The bad:
The server didn’t bring us the drinks we ordered until we asked.
–Noisy!
–A customer walked up to the modern jukebox and played horrible Good Olé’ ‘Merican country music. My ears cried until he had wasted an entire dollar on temporary music.
–The noise in the kitchen made it difficult for the waitress to hear us
The ugly:
The kitchen was filthy (95% cleanliness rating).
Orders were backed up while an employee lurked beside our table and fiddled with his phone.

I mean normally I don’t give 4 stars to places that are technically not 4 star places. but it was good and quick! Great service and everything tasted like it should. It was clean too… but it is still new. I went sober and I felt satisfied so that should tell you something.

It’s the first time I have been to a waffle house.
I went there for breakfast, and I had the combo which included an original waffle, 3 bacons, egg white, 2 toasts and a grit.
I think it’s pretty good since it seems like a fast food restaurants to me.
But it’s a little bit greasy for me in the morning.

Oh wow, be warned. This is the first review I have ever written but I can’t let this one pass. Arrived to find a flood from the dishwasher. The staff was wading through inch deep water in the food prep area. Everyone had wet pants legs. Since the silverware was still wet someone was drying it off with a dirty towel. We found a half eaten biscuit and glass of milk tucked in the corner of our counter top. When we asked the waitress about it she left it there (!) telling us it was one of the employees. The table next to us was cleaned with a towel that caused a moldy stench in the air for the rest of the meal. The iced tea was undrinkable. I could go I about the lousy, slow, unintelligible service but at this point that almost seems irrelevant.

I went to this Waffle House a few weeks after it opened up and it was great! The staff was super friendly and the entire restaurant was very clean (well, it is new). While Waffle Houses are rather infamous for being kind of grungy and cheap in food quality, the hashbrowns and toast weren’t too buttery and the portions were a good size. I hope it stays like this for a while…
