The yogurt is pretty standard, but the toppings have gone downhill… the fruit especially looked like it had been sitting there a few days. There is a VERY strong smell of soured milk when you walk in. We have noticed this before when going there, but it was much worse last night. Makes me wonder if it’s sanitary to even eat here anymore… The owners really need to improve this place or we will not be back.

Downgraded to one star. Sewage smell still persists. Yogurt still tastes like it came out of a test tube. Toppings are stale as they ever were. Do the owners just not care?

Updated 11⁄2014: I’m also further disillusioned with this place because last year they decided to close for the ENTIRE winter, again with continually changing signs about when they would open again. Also the mochi topping is no longer available :-(. Old review: I LOVE frozen yogurt, and froyo has exploded in the past year. This place is your typical self-serve yogurt place that charges by the ounce. The froyo here is good, there’s a fair variety of toppings, and the selection of yogurt flavors is plentiful however there’s nothing in particular that stands out about this place. The best thing about this place is that its location is great for Southern Villagers, right near the green and walking distance to all the other shops and events on the lawn. However, I am giving it two stars because the hours are so darn unreliable. They are always changing the hours so I’ve been there several times just to find out the hours are different from the last time I was there. For the first few months they were open, they didn’t even have hours posted on their door, and when I asked about hours they wouldn’t give me a straight answer. I was disappointed again tonight when I went over there at 8:50pm and the doors were already locked when the sign on the door says that the shop closes at 9pm(to top it off, on the sign, the hours had obviously recently been changed as you could still see the old sign that said closes at 9:30, which had been pasted over with their new hours — they didn’t even take the time to print out a new sign!). I guess my last complaint is that it is a bit overpriced, but this is common with all these new froyo places that have the fresh cultured yogurt and fresh fruit toppings, and even mochi! So, overpriced but I guess I am still sometimes willing to pay it because the product is good — I have nothing to complain about there.

Yes it’s overpriced– it’s frozen yogurt, not your run-of-the-mill TCBY! But I’ve never had a less-than-positive experience at Tutti Fruitti. Their fro yo is always fresh, and the people who work there take pride in creating various flavors that keep me and my family coming back. Try the blueberry fro yo– it’s consistently awesome!

I went to Tutti Frutti after dinner since we were driving in the area and it was close by. It was our first and last time there. Yogurt was very sad. Not frozen enough and the flavor wasn’t good. My kids who LOVE frozen yogurt didn’t finish their yogurts. This is even with candy toppings and syrups encrusting the sorry dollops of yogurt. There are ample other choices on Franklin Street and elsewhere. You should probably go there. However, the place was clean. They did have cartoons on the TV, which may be a plus for some. Cashier was friendly enough. But all this was not enough to raise them above 1 star. Sorry. Step up your game Tutti Frutti. It’s spoiled.

A refreshing treat, but I like Orange Leaf better. Both are pricey, however.

Service is pretty good, though the frozen yogurt is unremarkable. It does make a warm day go by better, but if you’re looking for some sort of taste-bud excitement, you won’t find it here. Otherwise, it’s a nice(albeit empty-looking) store in Southern Village, a place that doesn’t have a froyo place.

First, let me say that I feel really bad giving them 1 star. But I have worked in the frozen yogurt business for almost 7 years now, so I know a thing or two about fro-yo. And I just truly didn’t care for their product. We tried these guys for the first time last night… the young man working was VERY friendly and helpful. He let us taste 5 flavors(and they only had about 8 flavors). I SOBADLY didn’t want to be «that person» who tastes 5 flavors and leaves(because I have served«that person» many times, and they are a pain in the behind). But, honestly, the yogurt just wasn’t good. None of them stood out to us(or had any particularly enjoyable flavor at all). Their topping selection was nice, but there are other places with more to choose from. I believe that they make their«yogurt» with milk and powdered flavors… That’s a no-no because not only is it not as healthy as they claim(i.e. probiotics), but it creates inconsistencies in flavors(depending on the employee that mixes them). I’m really sorry Tutti Frutti. :o(
