I took my one year son to see Dr. Kim for allergy testing today. Dr. Kim and his staff are great! I spoke with Mary first who listened to my situation and went out of her way to help us. And Dr. Kim was very thorough and explained things very well. I expected to come in, they do the test and then they leave us on our way but it wasn’t like that at all. They explained our results in detail, referred us to another specialist, and then told me to make sure that the specialist stays in contact with him so he knows what is going on. My son tested negative for allergies, but he still wanted to hear from the specialist which I thought was great. I wish all doctors wanted to communicate like that.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Kim’s for about 10 years now. We love his office and staff! We have never had a bad experience. Dr. Kim even returns emergency calls back himself within 20 minutes of a message being left on the emergency voice mail.
I highly recommend this practice for allergy and asthma care.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Kim really listens and takes his time with each visit.

I highly recommend that you do not go to this doctor; if I could give them a rating of zero I would.
This is the worst doctor/​medical office I have ever been to. Two weeks ago, for reasons unknown and unconfirmed, I went into anaphylactic shock within 5 minutes of receiving my bi-​weekly allergy shots. Fortunately for me, the staff acted quickly and administered the first of two epi-​pens, handed me two benedryll pills and started monitoring my heartrate and blood pressure. Unfortunately for me, that initial round of medicine was not enough and I had to receive a second epi-​pen and a steriod shot — of which I still have sore muscles and bruises from all three shots (it’s been weeks). Eventually 911 was called and I was sent by ambulance to the ER to be watched for a second anaphylactic reaction. However, all of this is not why they are receiving one star — reactions like this one are a possibility (although I have my beliefs that I was administered an «overdose» of the allergy serum, but that cannot be proven).
The reason for this rating is what happened AFTER this traumatic, terrifying and costly [to me only…] situation. The day after this all happened I received a phone call from the ER nurse, whom I only interacted with for a few hours, following up with me to see how I was feeling. I had been going to Dr. Kim’s office for months.
SIX DAYS after the event, that I could have died from, I had to call Dr. Kim’s office to follow up with him regarding what happened and where to go next. The phone call was discouraging to say the least. As my doctor, I would like to believe that he has his patient’s best interest in mind as he is supposed to be a care-​giver. Nope, he couldn’t have cared less. Never called to see how I was doing, «assuming that [I] would be fine» after I was taken away by paramedics. I am appalled and saddened by his lack of concern, as I trusted Dr. Kim and his staff to care for me and help treat my allergies.
The finale of all this, is that they hid in the back of the office when I went in to pick up my records. And today I received an official letter in the mail from them saying they would no longer treat me. Well, no kidding — I’m not sure they ever started treating me.

I had an appointment and my daughter got a fever at school. I had to cancel my appointment as soon as I heard from the school to pick her up I called to cancel my appointment. I explained that I just picked her up with a fever. They charged me $ 50 fee!!! I should of taken my daughter in to contaminate the office. Beware of sick patients. Next time I am taking her in even if she is full blown FLU or strep or any nasty contagious thing!

Great office staff and nurses. Dr. Kim is fabulous, attentive, and professional.
