I sent a balikbayan box last November 2014 using their service. The package has not been received until now(Feb 2015). Called and called their store but no one answers the phone! Please do not make the same mistake I made.

Good food but very slow service. Like 20 minutes for our stir fry food and we’re the only table being served. That can easily be fixed though. They offer a variety of authentic filipino food. I’ll come back but probably just for to go.

Let me get this out of the way first. They sell Pacquiao t-shirts! Anyways, Manila Sunrise has always been my go-to place for Filipino products. They even have fishball sauce there! Can you believe that?! Where else in the East Valley can you get authentic Filipino fishball sauce? Their products are fairly priced. Some, I’d even consider cheap. Yeah, a handful of those products are also sold at LeeLee’s, but they are all cheaper at Manila Sunrise. You want fried chicken skins? Chicharon? Chippy? Clover Chips? Sarsi in glass bottles? Tocino? Longanisa? Filipino themed apparel? They have it all there at Manila Sunrise. The people that work there are pretty cool too. They really appreciate the patronage you give them.

I went here a long time ago to get some pre-made lumpia; which they had and the prices weren’t too high. Since, I work full time and have no time to actually make any lumpia, they are a god-send. They had all the Fillipino goodies, that I would expect in a store like this. Clean and organized. But don’t expect too too much. After all, it is a MOMANDPOP shop.
