CubeSmart Self Storage

I recently moved and needed an inexpensive storage solution. I was very pleased with the customer service I received by the young ladies in the office. They were very friendly and helpful. I have never used a storage facility and I am very happy with how safe and secure this location is. I have been using them for about 3 months now.

Go elsewhere. I tried to access my unit during normal hours, with my bill paid in full of course, and the gate told me «We’re sorry, this area currently closed.» I called the main 1 – 800 number, and they gave me an bypass code, but but this took an hour to resolve at which point I had ten minutes to do my business… Absolutely ridiculous. I’m heading out of town tomorrow and cannot access *MY* CAMPING GEAR. ***EDIT: after this huge hassle, they gave me a months rent free. Thus, I’m changing my review from one star to two. The office manager informed me that «they have had prolonged issues with the gate not allowing access during normal hours.» Really? With a hundred or more units and a huge corporate organization, they can certainly afford to fix the broken gate. For this reason I remain unsatisfied.

This was recently U-​Store-​It, but was assimilated by CubeSmart very recently. So far, I have not seen any major changes in service or the way they conduct business other than their letter notifying me of the change. This is a good thing, because their service has always been friendly and proactive. I have stored my extra wares there for about 3 years, and chose them after doing some shopping around for their nice facilities and competitive pricing (and proximity to my house.) What I didn’t expect was the professionalism and friendly reception I have received since signing up with them. They remembered my name after only my first few visits, and made pleasant but not overly time consuming conversation with me… very down to earth. When there were any policy changes, of which there have only been a couple over the years, I was notified well in advance, and the required course of action was explained in a very clear way. It isn’t located in the nicest neighborhood of Chandler, but it has always seemed very safe and secure, and they keep the place clean, and just repaved and repainted (prior to the corporate takeover.) the area is lighted, with incremental security cameras. I do not have a climate controlled storage space, but i believe they are available at this location. They have units of all sizes. Boxes and packing supplies are sold on-​site.
