I have been coming to Backfit Health and Spine for over a year. I have always been impressed with the staff and Dr Gomez especially. I have complete trust in Dr. Gomez that I also bring my 11 year old daughter, my 12 year old son and now my husband is going to Backfit. They not only treat you for chiropractic care, they incorporate physical therapy and medical all in one place. we are forever patients.

Best Chiro and physical therapy place you can find! They work miracles! Friendly staff, they become family.

First off: the staff at Backfit is awesome. I’ve been doing physical therapy here with Kristen and Lisvany for my neck pain – mostly caused by TMJ – and they have helped me a lot. My pain level is much lower and I’ve noticed an improvement in my posture which is a plus. I was told previously by another doctor that I may need surgery on my jaw but I feel that the program I’m doing here might be sufficient (fingers crossed).

They also offer medical massages here which is super convenient to have all in one spot. Stephanie is the massage therapist I’ve been seeing and she is simply amazing. She must have treated a fair few TMJ patients because she knows exactly what to do to fix jaw pain.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience here and feel like the people I’ve interacted with care about their patients and their work.

After I was introduced by the staff at the mall, they have examined me. They had seen that I was offset. And yes I was in major pain. I visited the office and was giving x-​ray and later was giving treatment to make me fell like new again. I have not been going on routine basis but I need to go and its good meet with your DOC on a timely manner, just so your can be pain free and moving

I came to visit their back office, which is the medical side of things, not chiropractic and it was just a joke. They are very unprofessional in every way. It too them three weeks to get back to me for a follow up app even though there was nothing to follow up on. Their billing practices are beyond sketchy as well they just say we’ll call you, fat chance. No wonder their appointments are weird open. Steer clear, unless you want a doctor shining an iPhone light at you as a means to a medical light.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. The back office staff is great and the doctors have a very friendly manner, but they have some shady billing practices that I just can’t get past.
They’re definitely are out to get your money and they’ll charge an insane amount to your insurance. One simple appointment of a 10-​min adjustment and 40 minutes of simple stretching exercises should not cost $ 1,000+!!
I stopped going after I saw a few months of the bills they were charging my insurance.
But the people are great!

Terrible customer service and poor rapport with clients. Feels like you are in a fast food joint for chiropractic service. Would recommend finding someone else in the area.

Great service. Very accommodating. Staff is focused on care and development. Appointments tend to take a while because of the therapy, etc. Give yourself plenty of time.

The office has excellent Chiropractic doctors, physical therapist, and massage therapists. I’ve been a patient for several years and have been very happy with the treatment for various injuries. The Drs genuinely care about your recovery and then maintaining a healthy you. On top of the excellent medical care, the staff is friendly and able to accommodate last minute appointments. I definitely recommend BackFit Health and Spine.

I have been a patient at Backfit for approximately 9 years. I originally started as a chiropractic patient but since have done physical therapy, injections and a weekly massage. When I walk in it’s like being in Cheers where everyone knows your name. I also have a hearing disability which everyone takes into account and emails or texts me with appointment reminders, etc. The staff from the front desk to the Doctors are the best. They really care about you as a person and as a whole body, not just a chiropractic patient. Without them I would barely be able to walk let alone play golf. There are hundreds of chiropractic clinics but only one Backfit. Well not really true because there are several offices including Chandler, Gilbert and Phoenix.

Found Backfit at the recent Oktoberfest in Chandler. Made an appointment and I have to say I am very impressed. The location for me is great and the staff are very professional. Dr. Gomez is very knowledgeable and thorough. I can already feel relief in my shoulders and back. I appreciate how efficiently they use their time. They also accept Tricare and I look forward to many more visits.

I came here at first with a massage Groupon. The massage was excellent. Once I was given a tour of the physical therapy and chiropractic areas and the GREAT prices, I signed up. Previously, I was told by other doctors I may have to live with my back pain, but I knew better. After a free consult and xray with Back Fit, they said Itheycould definitely help me with physical therapy on site. Ive been going there for about 2 months now and I now can sleep without a back brace and feel so much better. I feel stretched and relaxed. Its worth trying! The staff is very considerate and attentive, and they always make me feel welcomed.

The doctors and staff at Backfit have greatly changed my life in ways I never imagined. I procrastinated for many years when it came to my health and one day I came across Backfit on my way home and decided to stop by and I am glad I did. Dr. Gomez and his team have been so understanding to my level of my pain and have been doing everything in their power to fix my back problems and I appreciate that. Every time I show up they greet me with a smile and small talk. Their customer service is amazing and I highly recommend that if anyone is experiencing any type of physical pain or health issue to visit Backfit; their holistic methods will help heal your pains. Two thumbs up on top of my 5 stars for these guys!

After I was rear ended very hard on the highway and feeling sore in my neck and upper back area my boss from The Employee Network recommended Backfit Health + Spine for treatment and to get everything documented. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but as soon as you walk inside, the décor really makes you feel comfortable right away. Stone covered front desk with a very friendly secretary. A big room with plenty of exercise equipment for strengthening muscles. When I was doing stimulation on my muscles with a machine (I am pretty new to all this, being a first timer at a chiropractor) I was right by a huge window overlooking a beautiful pond. I saw Dr. Gomez, he was very knowledgeable and wanted to best solution for my pain and bad neck curve in the long term aspect.
If you are in a hurry you should tell them when you need to be out of there by… not all patients are looking to get in and out as fast as I am with my schedule so the doctors tend to take their time with you… not a bad thing but it can be when you are in a rush.
Bottom line is: Very friendly staff, smart doctors, beautiful office (inside!), accommodating to your schedule, and I am no longer in pain! Thanks Backfit for all your help.

I purchased a groupon for one back massage here after passing by this place several times. My experience was very pleasant. The appointment was in the afternoon and they were running right on schedule. The massage therapist, Kristen I believe, was professional, courteous and worked on all the areas I pointed out. The massage room was cozy, low lit and tranquil. She worked out some kinks I had gotten myself into recently going back to bikram yoga. All and all for the price (of the groupon) I would come back due to the convenience of the location and they’re professionalism. I did not have any problems before during or afterward.

Customer service was terrible. They scheduled a massage for me when the office was closed. Got there, the door was locked. I called the office and left a voice mail. Received a call back 30 minutes later stating I was being charged for the massage even though I was there and couldn’t get in. Could not believe how rude the person who answered the phone was. Beware. Trying to get my money back but seems impossible. Beware!!! They are after your money!!!

I recently gave BackFit a try after meeting one of their reps at a health fair. I am relatively new to the area and was looking for a new chiropractor to give me the regular monthly maintenance adjustments I have been used to.
I give BackFit kudos for their conveniently located office at Dobson and Ray in the Sprouts plaza, their friendly staff (many regular patients were greeted by name after walking in the door), their X-​ray capabilities, the Saturday office hours, the affordable adjustments ($ 25), the new patient forms available for print-​out on their website, and the modern décor.
On the bad side, the office is so busy that an appointment can take quite awhile. My first appointment took 2 hours, and it included a health history beyond the new patient forms I filled out before arriving, X-​rays, adjustment, and stretches. When I asked the staff how long the stretches would take and brought up the fact that I had been there nearly 2 hours already, they kind of poo-​pooed me and reminded me that I was a new patient. Sure, I’m a new patient, but I had the new patient forms already filled out which saved a good 15 minutes. If they want a more intensive health history, they could make that part of the new patient paperwork to speed things along instead of having to go over it verbally with a staff member for another 15 minutes. There were tons of patients there that day and only one chiro, so I think they are overbooking appointment times. I had been hoping to be in and out in about an hour. I’ve worked in medical settings before, and I’ve been a new patient elsewhere before, so I think an hour should have been more than enough time in an organized office. They showed a disrespect for the value of my time, which really bothered me.
The other negatives: The walls between the exam rooms are very thin. I could hear every word that was said to the doctor in the room next to mine. Unlike some people these days, I still very much enjoy privacy, especially when talking about health issues! The chiro told me he would call me on a certain day within a certain time frame to discuss my X-​rays and plan of care. However, he never called that day, nor the next. For me as a patient, that is a huge issue. If my doctor doesn’t follow up with me when he says he will, I’m not able to trust him in any way when it comes to my health care. Finally I called them up and they asked me to come in that very same day. I have a very busy schedule and can’t just drop everything on a moment’s notice to come to a last-​minute appointment. They need to understand that lack of prep on their part doesn’t constitute an emergency on mine. So for me, I will continue to seek a chiro I can trust with my care-​one who realizes how valuable my time is, respects my privacy, calls when they say they will, is conveniently located, and doesn’t overcharge. This one didn’t check off all the boxes for me.
