Daniel’s Jewelers

To start my review, my boyfriend and I had went to Daniels Jewelers at the Whittwood mall on valentines day 2015. The customer service there was amazing and we were originally going to buy a engagement ring at that location (since we live around the corner). But we had some business at the Cerritos mall and last minute had decided to buy the ring at that location, since we were there already. First mistake. The lady who was «taking care of us» was really pushy about buying the ring NOW (which was the first turn off). The second issue we were having was once we decided to go ahead and do the deal, she had the audacity to quote us $ 180 a month for payments, when we were quoted $ 70 a month at the whittier location, and this is from putting HALF the rings value as a down payment. So for the next 45 minutes we were going back and forth with the lady trying to explain to her that that was bs and we were already quoted a much lesser payment. Finally we came to $ 125…at this point we had been there for 2 hours and I just wanted to hurry and close the deal.
Now, I understand they were super busy (valentines day, duh), but we then proceeded to wait another hour for any service. At this point the whole deal was done, all the paperwork was signed and finished, all they needed to do was ring us up. So for the next hour we watched 4 couples come (came after us), pay, and go with their purchases while we sat there and watched.
Finally they called us up and we payed… we got out of there as soon as we could. What was supposed to be a exciting thing turned into a 3 hour process that left me with a horrible headache (hearing the crowd for 3 hours is no fun).
Fast forward 3 days (yesterday/​tuesday). The ring was being resized and was supposed to be done ON Thursday (they strongly reassured me). So I called to make sure everything was still on track. That’s when they informed me it would not be done for another week… we payed EXTRA to have it done by thursday. So I ended up ending the call.
Now today I call again… this is my final straw… when I call the lady says «sorry but can you call back In an hour? I’m in the middle of closing a deal.» And hangs up on me. Wow. Same lady who was taking care of my deal. Like am I only important to you when I’m buying something from you? But after that all bets are off?
Honestly I’m so pissed and done with these people… HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE… this location sucks.
