This hotel is so beautiful and romantic! We stayed here for a wedding and I love how they have restored the hotel to its original(well with some modern modifications) 1920s style. The historical building is comfortable(has AC), relaxing, and affordable. The staff and owners are friendly and accommodating. The adjoining restaurant was also delicious! I highly recommend staying here when you are in town.

I cannot say enough about how pleasant our stay at this hotel was. I reserved one of the last rooms of the evening earlier that day, which was quick and easy. My boyfriend showed up earlier than me(darn traffic) and wanted to check-in, so they called to make sure that he was the second person on the reservation. Much appreciated to make sure they aren’t handing the key to a stranger. I love love love that they allow dogs with an extra fee. Us pet owners are usually relegated to smelly old hotels with our dogs. There was a wedding going on until about 10pm, but we were out to dinner and everyone was on their way out when we got home so it wasn’t a bother for us at all. The building is gorgeously remodeled, and I peeked into the ballroom in the morning and can see why it would make a great wedding venue. The room was spic and span. Very simple décor that was vintage with a modern touch. Plush towels and super long robes! The medicine cabinet above the in-room sink was stocked with the usual travel shampoos. The comforter on the bed was actually AMAZINGLYCOMFORTABLE and the AC in the room with a digital remote was very very welcome on such a warm July evening. We closed the window to keep the cool air in — which also blocked a majority of the train noise a couple blocks away. I slept like a rock. The shared/communal bathroom was nothing like those that give you the heebie jeebies in hostels. There was a urinal because it was a unisex bathroom — but the door had a lock on it for privacy, which I appreciated. The bathroom was right next to our room and we didn’t hear anyone else go in all evening — great soundproofing and/or plenty of other bathrooms on the same floor. You can tell they are still remodeling a few things, but it isn’t a dusty construction zone. Glad they seem to be adding more rooms because they’re going to be pretty popular. Before checking out in the morning we got breakfast to go from Berry Fields Café downstairs and ate it up on the patio overlooking the park watching Seattle to Portland bikers ride by. This is my go-to spot anytime I stop through Centralia for the night. Family owned, so their service beats those lousy chains anyday!
