Very shady operation here. I called on the phone and they said with triple A they would give me a 59.99 plus tax. Then when I get to the hotel I come to find out that the new looking spot is 99 plus tax. Confused at why this is so I was told the rate was for the other units is what I was told. Keeping in mind I called quality Inn and drove to the address for this hotel. So, they have a particular rate you are told and then when you get there you find out that the rate is for the other hotel at the end of the parking lot that looks rather shady and has a sign on it that says«Centralia Inn All Rooms 39.99», but they claim its 59.99 plus tax. Pretty upset with the circumstances I chose to bypass this place in fear it might have other problems I would encounter. I would suggest you stay away too!

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. We checked into the quality inn, but upon directing us to our room found ourselves in a different building called«Centralia inn» which is almost comically disgusting. This is one of those hotels that let people live there for months on end, and they aren’t on a business trip. We were there for less than 5 minutes(the time it took to drive over to the new building) when we called and said we were coming back for a refund. It was cold, smelled like a dirty ashtray, the floors were disgusting. We had been told everything was renovated. This place is such a joke. We were told no refunds after 5 minutes. However, my receipt says no refund after 10 minutes. When we called to talk to management they are not around and we are told«they don’t do refunds at all.» Think you can call corporate? Had to call 3 times because the Centralia inn is not part of the quality in which is awesome because my bank account was charged from the quality inn. Another excuse, the super helpful male(please read with sarcasm) at the front desk, said locals get put in the centralia inn as part of his argument as to why we don’t get a refund, I’m not sure where this fits in as relevant, but they sure think so. By the way, We are from portland. Saying that this was for locals only affirms my theory that it is for local drug addicts etc. I’m from the area originally and this type of thing is a problem. The other part that affirms this is that there were the sketchy people outside the room as we walked up to see it, Hanging out in the stairwell smoking at 1 am. So now I have a credit card dispute and complaint with corporate going. This has been soooo much fun. I will never stay at a quality inn again because of how rude they have been, not to mention that they never mention its a completely different hotel. What a load of horse s*^#. You’ve been warned, do not stay here!!! UPDATE: my bank disputed the charge and gave me back my 65 $. Still will never stay at this chain again. Such horrible customer service

Not happy with initial viewing of the room. Floor needed to be vacuumed, outlets didn’t have covers, outlets didn’t hold plugs in, bathroom needed some work. I felt like I needed to walk with socks on the entire stay. The breakfast was just ok. The room was small, food wasn’t stocked well… even though people kept walking in and out. Guests had to find forks themselves. The wifi kept cutting in and out. The only thing that saved this hotel was that the sleep we got was awesome. The bed was so comfortable!

They are in the process of renovating and updating and they have their work cut out for them. All in all it’s not too bad of a place. The shower head fell off in the first room we were in. I waited for nearly 20 minutes for someone to show up at the desk. She had a plate of food when she arrived, so I guess she must have been lunching. They have to eat too, lol. Anyway, I told her about the shower head and the internet did not seem to be working. She said she would probably have to move us to another room due to the broken shower head and she was unsure how to fix the internet, but she did add these issues to a list. I wanted to suggest that the modem for the internet might just need to be reset, but she didn’t seem to have a clue about much of anything so I just hoped that someone a little more competent would read the list later on. Sure enough, someone must have because the internet was working when we returned that night. Thank you to the person who fixed it. the second room we moved to had some maintenance issues as well. The curtains had no pull rod and the curtain was starting to come down, the air conditioner was very old and taped together with clear packing tape, a light bulb above the vanity was burned out and broken, the light fixture above the table was coming off and I feared it might fall, the chairs were low, old, and stained, and the carpet was frayed. However, there was a fresh coat of paint on the walls including one green colored accent wall, the beds, bedding and pillows were new and quite comfortable, and the granite accented vanity added some much needed updates to the room. The tubs appear to have been refinished some time in the near past and this room had a fridge and microwave as the first room we were in did not. The interior corridor carpets need to be changed out. They are old, worn and stained. The pool and hot tub were closed the entire time we were there. Breakfast was pretty standard fair for franchise hotels that offer a hot breakfast. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, coffee and juice were offered. Only small cake type plates were available so you could only put about one biscuit on it. There was no way you could get a waffle on it. They ran out of forks so you had to eat everything with a spoon. Not a bad place if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night or two. They appear to still be renovating so take that into account. I’m sure they will be making improvements as time goes by. I know this hotel was built in the 80’s so it is going to take time, and money to finish the project. Give them a try anyway.
