The Salt Room

I scheduled an appointment while I was in town for the holidays and treated my sister. Ben and his team were very accommodating and always professional. I had the privilege of being paired with Sandie for my massage. I was charmed by her professionalism and caring nature. She is the real deal! I’m sad that I don’t live closer because I would definitely try to be back sooner. Awesome experience!

The Salt Room is truly a magic place! Sandie is an absolute gem! I saw the haleotherapy offer on Groupon and went in with my husband for a chair massage in the salt room. We both felt amazing afterwards. So relaxing and we were both breathing better after. We loved it so much and Sandie made us both feel so welcome and special, I decided to bring my mom back. I posted about it online and my friend and her daughter wanted to come too. So we all 4 went. They loved it too and my mom’s bad sinus problems were immediately alleviated! She couldn’t believe the benefits! Sandie heard me talking about her sinuses and did a quick little peppermint oil treamtment on her that helped her tremendously! Mom and I just went back this weekend and I had a facial and eyebrow wax (second time) from Sandie. I cannot tell you how special and beautiful she made me feel! It was like she took the past 14 years of stress off my face! I feel like a whole new person and am so blessed that Sandie came into my life and I found the Salt Room! I know I will be a regular and keep telling all my friends about it’s benefits.

I found this place via Groupon. It sounded somewhat silly, but it was cheap and might help my allergies, so I decided to risk it. I am glad that I did! While breathing in salt might sound unpleasant, it reminded me of being next to the ocean. The treatment was surprisingly effective! I felt much better when I left, and the immune/​respiratory boost actually lasted several days! I had the same effect when my second treatment.
They also offer massages, and while I have not had one, apparently Ben the masseuse is amazing. Sandi (sp?) Offers facials and waxing. Both she and Ben have a very positive feel about them.

This was our second visit. The first one was a deal we found on Groupon, we liked the atmosphere and the owner Ben very much that we booked an hour massage each in the salt room. Ben has great hands and is very knowledge in what he does. We also booked our next massage. Can’t say enough about this place and Ben. If you get an opportunity to stop in and check the place out or purchase his offer on Groupon you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit. Tell Ben Amber and Cindy sent you!

Ok, so this is halotherapy. Never heard of such a thing? Well, neither had I, but as someone with immune system issues, I had heard of salt water being used as therapy, and when I saw a groupon deal for the Salt Room, I thought, why not?
I’ve been twice so far, and both experiences were outstanding. The owner, Ben, couldn’t be nicer and is very thorough in explaining what halotherapy is (besides being used to treat skin problems like psoriasis and excema, it is used for COPD, asthma, allergies, autism, and common colds), which I appreciate.
The reception area is open and inviting. The «salt room» is literally a room covered in salt — floors, walls, ceilings, everything. It’s very fun. You can sit on a chair or lie on a massage table and let the salt (being pushed into the air through a device located in the next room) work its magic. There is soothing music being piped into the room, and muted lights that create a really calming and relaxing environment. I also REALLY appreciated that after my first visit, I mentioned that I had gotten a little chilly, and so on my second visit — the heat was a little higher. LOVE good customer service.
There are also massages available, though I haven’t tried that service yet, but if it’s half as good as the halotherapy, you won’t be disappointed.
