$ 2.50 breakfast burritos. Fresh made slice only takes 10 minutes to prepare cook and walk out the door. $ 9.00 for a can of diet Coke and a fresh slice of za. Great lunch stop.

Had the chopped salad for lunch and it was DRENCHED in oil and too much oregano. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Guess we live and learn

Call me crazy, but I go to this pizza place for the pasta. Not to say the pizza isn’t great… it’s incredible and the Margherita Pizza is especially top notch. The ingredients are as fresh as you will find and the wood fire oven leaves its delicious mark. However, the best kept secret about Pizzeria di Olinto is the pasta. The owner moved to Europe for 3 years to train under Italian chefs. And it shows. The pasta dishes are the real deal. Story time: On my second visit here, I sat at the bar and a friendly woman next to me began a conversation. It turns out, she’s the owner. I asked her if she had any pasta recommendations, and she recommended a special pasta dish that wasn’t on the menu yet. I told her I was very interested, and the next thing I know she is standing up from the bar, putting on an apron, tying her hair up, and personally making a meal just for me! This is the kind of service of someone who obviously cares about their customers. The staff here is the best you will find. No matter how busy they get, you are treated as if you’re the only person in the restaurant. They will likely remember you by name after you dine in a couple times, and the owner can frequently be seen wandering the floor and chatting with customers like they’ve known each other for years. The price is reasonable, and they run specials every day of the week. A free shot of Amaretto for desert is always a nice icing on the cake. This restaurant is one of the few truly deserving of a perfect score… A five star experience all the way around. UPDATE: Unfortunately, this location has closed. Very sad to lose such a great restaurant. Here’s to hoping they somehow make a comeback.

Came here with a Groupon, and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love trying new places with a Groupon, it’s almost like a built in «protection» from suckiness, but here it was almost with guilt that I used it because the experience was so wonderful!(And far from sucky.) Went for lunch with my hubby and we were the only ones in there for the majority of our meal, so service was absolutely fantastic. Décor was well done, a quaint bistro-like feel/or upscale pizzeria, almost forgot I was in a strip center. We each ordered a salad and shared a pizza. Hubby had the caprese salad; it came out with beautiful sliced tomatoes, fresh vivid-green basil and generous slices of fresh mozzarella drizzled with balsamic that my husband said he really liked. I tried their Mediterranean salad(at waiter’s recommendation) and it was a very generous portion, and delicious! The greens were crisp, the feta lovely and the dressing light and tasty. The lunch sized wood-fired pizza was covered with lots of pepperoni and mushrooms. The mushrooms were canned(or marinated?) but I really liked them and the cheese was everything it should be on a pizza. The crust was wood-fired perfection, though I did notice it get soggy underneath the longer it sat waiting for me to finish my salad and 1st piece; note to self: eat faster! They have a lunch special of $ 6 for 2 slices and a drink. They also have a «theme» special each night of the week: Tuesdays: kids eat free, Saturdays: Date Night. We chatted with the owner a bit on our way out and she mentioned date night was $ 40 and included a bottle of wine, a large salad…(I stopped listening at wine), but we will definitely be back for that! She had also told us about how everything is house made, and they’re really proud of their lasagna so I want to try that too! I asked if kids were invited to Date Night and she said they love kids and assured me they have a high chair for my well-behaved restaurant baby and dough for my son to play with. Overall, for good table service you can easily spend less than $ 10 for a quick lunch, or spend a little more and enjoy the ambiance– it’s your choice! I really enjoyed my lunch date with my hubby, this was the perfect place to make it feel like a date rather than just lunch out together. This would also be a great place for a nice lunch meeting with the boss, and they have happy hour too. And of course dinner, which I will be back for! This is a family owned place that takes obvious pride in their ingredients, preparation and overall restaurant. I love that! It makes me sad it was so empty during a weekday lunch, so please give it a try. I’m going to be telling a lot of people about this place because I felt their heart and soul in there and I want it to thrive!!!

Great place for date night, especially on a Friday or Saturday night as they have date night specials those nights. Bottle of house wine, salad to share, pizza to share, a set of mini canolis. Best of all the staff has always been super nice and brought out free amaretto shots after dinner.

This was my second trip to this little gem of a pizzeria and I just had to write a glowing review. While at first glance this may seem to be a fairly unimpressive storefront shop, you’ll be glad if you give them a chance. The staff is attentive, speedy, and very knowledgable. The food has been delicious and we never feel rushed to leave though the service is very quick. My husband and I especially love meeting our friends there for the date night special. For $ 40 per couple we receive a full size salad to share, a 12″ pizza, a bottle of wine, and little cherry canollis for dessert. It’s a LOT for the price and the quality is great. Both times we’ve also received complimentary shots of amaretto after the meal. Yum! They use a brand I’d never heard of but will be looking for in the future. Highly Recommend this place — stop in and discover your new favorite date night spot.

The Bottom Line: Fresh ingredients. Pizza made from scratch(and to order). Brick oven goodness. Super nice owner. I’m used to waiting 45+ minutes on made to order pizzas in a brick oven setting, but this place managed to make 2 pizzas happen in 20 minutes. Pretty impressive. The owner stopped by our table at the end and provided 2 Amaretto shots on the house which was a nice touch(this is provided for all guests — no, I’m not that special). :) As far as the«restroom smell» in the dining area — we picked up on this, but it’s actually the smell of the brick oven. I have smelled this in brick oven pizzerias elsewhere, so this is not unique to this establishment. One thing they could improve on are their stuffed mushrooms. They’re close to inedible — blander than a white girl’s rice. It needs more pizzazz(spices perhaps?)

When I lived in Colorado this was my go-to place for lunch. Terri knew me by name and always greeted me. I had went there since opening week. Sometimes I would have not so good experiences, but she always made sure to correct that. That’s why this place gets 5 stars. It is everything I could want in a restaurant, and I miss this place very much. Give it a try, I promise you… you will want to come back. My favorite thing on the menu: margarita pizza. It’s simple and delicious.

4 visits and now time for a review. One hit and 3 misses and ended up with 3 stars. Pros: fresh ingredients, unique menu, good wine selection, peroni on tab, different specials everyday, group on deals Cons: lack of consistency on services, restroom smell in the dining area, $ 3.00 ice tea(just plain kind). * made to order lasagna(all beef) wasn’t that great. Personal taste?

I am not sure about Pizzeria Di Olinto’s marketing strategy. Seems there has been a decent amount of Groupon activity from the restaurant. I was able to eat there, and pick up a new groupon(15 for $ 30 for dinner) as I left the restaurant. The restaurant is located just off of Arapahoe road in centennial. It is in the same(fairly new) shopping area with an Einstein Bagel and a Starbucks, as well as a sushi place. When coming in you are greeted with a big wood burning oven, and a open kitchen. The place is fairly small, but cozy. CON: The biggest issue is the door. It was cold yesterday, and I’m afraid the restaurant will be unbearable if they don’t fix that door. Every time someone opened the door the ¼ of the restaurant was hit with a gust of cold air. It would of been even worse if this was the middle of the winter. With so much wasted space to the left of the door.. .this should be fixed. PRO: Everything else about the experience was great. The service from our waiter was excellent(though my toddler wanted to sit at a 6 top, and I asked«Do you mind»(we had 4) and she said yes we do mind. Of course, no 6 person group came in the entire night.. .maybe I shouldn’t of asked…but I was slightly annoyed by that). The food was solid. My Toddler thought the kids meal pepperoni was the«best pizza ever» but he is 3, and I humbly disagree(he just had coal fired pepe’s 1 week ago.. .but toddler memories are short) My wife and I shared the lasagna. My wife loved it. I thought it was decent, but not«best lasagna ever». But nothing a few chili peppers couldn’t fix. Beer and Wine: The outside markets this place, slightly, as a wine bar. They had a really good selection of craft beer.. .and their wines on house special were good. It seems that PIzzeria Di Olinto has solid specials every night of the week. Kids night, date night, etc. The place was very busy the night we arrived(Date night). Though I can bet I wasn’t the only Groupon. What(I imagine) was the owner swung by and said hi. Which is always nice(she was very casually dressed but stopped at multiple tables, asked us how things were. Either she was the owner/manager or a very NOSY customer. Outcome: A solid family restaurant, that we plan on returning to often. The proximity to our house can’t be beat, and the specials are good(and the food) We will see how uncomfortable it is in the winter.. .that would be the downside. Otherwise, we plan on coming back(we even bought a Groupon as we left the restaurant).

OMG! The best lasagna I have had in many many years — enough for 2. REALLY homemade. The pasta is light and airy — not like the ‘brinks’ of layered pasta one usually gets. The homemade sauce is amazing — from grandmothers recipe… The pizza is wonderful especially since the tomatoes sauce is not just out of a can of something or other… again — homemade. Also had a basket of bread with olive oil and a plate of parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes and oregano to dip the bread. However, the bread was hard — over baked. Maybe just find a great baguette — no need to bake everything yourself… A small wine list — but fine. The lighting needs some adjusting…

I had a Groupon(I know, I start a lot of reviews that way) and a friend and I came for lunch on a weekday. I had seen some pretty positive reviews, and it appears they were justified. The large, wood-fired pizza oven dominates your view right as you enter. The open kitchen guarantees you can see the pizzas and other food being prepared. Upon doing our Unilocal check-ins, we were both pleased to see this gave us a free drink. We opted for iced tea, which was just fine. The $ 24 lunch Groupon was more than enough to cover lunch for two. We ordered two of the $ 7 sandwiches, and a personal 9″ pizza, to which we added toppings of Pancetta, Fontina cheese, and artichokes. The first sandwich was a Philadelphia-style Italian roast pork sandwich. The lovely, wet and salty pork went great with the provolone, and sauteed broccoli rabe and kale on the hoagie roll. There must have been a fair amount of red pepper flake in the sautee, as this had a definite kick. The Italian Beef sandwich was also quite good. Flavorful beef served with a nice giardiniera on the side. The crust of the pizza was nice and chewy. There was a goodly amount of mozzarella on the pie. Service was very good, and the staff and management were quite friendly. I will definitely be back.

Love the meatball sandwich, but they need to throw it back into the pizza oven for 5 minutes AFTER they make it. Got to have the bread toasted and the cheese melted and the sandwich HOT in my opinion…

Initial impressions: The lighting is too bright, the wine list is too small, the staff are dressed too casually. Second impressions: Wow! What a delightful little place! Our waiter Tailin(sp?) took impeccable care of us. Our glasses were always full, the next course came at just the right time, AND he offered us a free sample of amaretto with dessert. Even after we paid the bill and continued to chat over our water glasses, he still attended to us! Brought more water and even another round of amaretto. Such outstanding service really stood out to us. The food was certainly above average. We decided to go for the«date night special»: an entrée-sized salad, an 11-inch pizza, canolis, and a bottle of wine for two — a three-course meal and wine for two, all for $ 40. What a bargain! The amount of food was just right, and it was totally delicious. The salad was bright, fresh, and flavorful; the pizza had beautiful toppings well-distributed throughout. My one criticism is that the thin crust was slightly doughy, but I prefer mine crispy, so perhaps my taste is just different from what they’re trying to achieve. The canolis were probably the weak point of the meal, as they came over a drizzle of what appeared to be Hershey’s chocolate syrup. But the whole experience was so exceptional that we overlooked this. Tailin made sure we had an outstanding time. I’m a little torn between rating four versus five stars(my initial impressions still stand, but we had SUCH a wonderful time), but there’s one thing of which I’m sure: we will be back!

This was our second visit for dinner on a Tuesday night using a $ 30 Colorado’s Best Deals offer. It was Kids Eat Free night and there were a lot of kids there. They still need a website and available Take out menus. They do have a Facebook page. The server brought us a wine bottle of chilled water with 2 small glasses. We also got a basket of bread with olive oil and a plate of parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes and oregano to dip the bread. We started with the Stuffed Shrooms appetizer($ 6). There were 4 stuffed mushroom caps on a bed of fresh arugula. They were stuffed with cheese, pancetta, sausage, breadcrumbs, and parmesan. The parmesan could have been melted a minute longer. We ordered the large 14″ NY Style Taylone Pizza($ 24) which had mozzarella, tomato sauce, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and roasted onions. Once again the crust was soggy. The toppings were not evenly distributed. Service was friendly and attentive. We probably won’t be back.

Obviously there are different expectations for giving 5 stars for a pizzeria vs a steak house. I was so pleasantly surprised by the food, I couldn’t find a reason to not give them 5 stars. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. Overall everything was great. Hats off to Pizzeria Di Olinto for serving simple delicious food.

I may be rating this a bit too high but I am always happy when there is a new my neighborhood that is not a chain. I hope this restauant makes it and I see no reason it should not. The grilled vegetable salad with balsamic vinegar and the pizza with 2 different salamis was very good. The homemade bread is pretty tasty as well. There is a small bar and there is a HH Nice especially for that neighborhood. Could easily be a fun hangout. The walls are grey and I just painted my sons condo in a few shades of grey. Nice. Everybody working including of course the owner are friendly and helpful. I know I will be back.

Awesome wood fired pizza place at Arapahoe and Peoria. The décor is modern rustic. I think it might be a nice place for a romantic pizza dinner after a movie in the evenings. It has a very warm atmosphere. There is a bar area towards the back and seating outside. First off you get bread(soft, obviously made fresh) and oil and a large bottle of water. We ordered a salad and pizza. The salad ingredients were fresh and crisp. Nice light dressing. The pizza ingredients were also very good. Nice mix of cheese. Sauce had fresh tomato-y flavor. Giant pepperoni slices got crisp like you want them to. The dough was crispy and chewy. Overall very good. The owners and staff were very friendly. Service was good.
