I came here on St Patricks Day, looking to get some Guinness for a low-key Irish dinner. It was already 7pm, and I had worried that they might be out, since that had happened to me at another establishment last year(obviously I hadn’t learned from my mistake, had I?). But, in any case, low and behold, they totally had an ample refrigerated stock of all the various Guinness offerings! Very satisfied after making my selection, I made my purchase and the lady at the counter was super friendly and we had a nice little conversation about being from California etc. All in all, a great experience.

Helpful staff. Nice wine selection too. The guy at the counter helped me pick out some beer. I figured I’d try something new. The store isn’t huge, but they keep it stocked up pretty well. I’m sure I’ll be going back sometime soon as this is a pretty convenient location for me.

I went into the store looking to buy a gluten free beer, specifically Redbridge by Anheuser Busch. The man told me that it has been discontinued for 1.5 years, and that the Redbridge I purchased a week earlier from another establishment was very old. Redbridge has an active website and facebook page, so I inquired with the company directly. I received a call today from Anheuser Busch, and Redbridge beer continues to be made, and the information the man at Forrest Wine & Liquor gave me was absolutely not true. I think it was pretty stinky and poor business to lie to me. Why wouldn’t he want to keep a customer, and either tell me the truth — they don’t carry it in their store any longer, or offer to order it in for me? Their prices are also higher than other liquor stores. I will no longer do business with this store.

convenient location for me to get some beer. VERY friendly people behind the counter. always witty and cracking jokes. prices are fair, but i guess thats something im learning about liquor stores in colorado. im used to being able to get allllll my liquor at the grocery store and their prices were usually very good. this place has a decent selection of hard alcohol, beer, and wines. but i only really drink beer. the microbrew selection is good. as matter of fact, they had the New Belgium Ranger IPA and i got a 6er of that. the next week i went to the brewery and they said it had only been out 2 weeks. so this place got the beer fast. maybe i can convince them to keep getting microbrews, especially new releases. they play sports on their tv. and i hate it because sometimes i dont want to know a score/play cuz im DVRing at home so i try to plug my ears and turn my head. that has nothing to do with the business. they also have a good selection of tobacco if youre into that sort of thing. cheers!
