By far my favorite coffee shop(and I drink a lot of coffee)! The owner and roaster, Taylor, is on hand to chat and explain his process. They have a very smooth roast and different varieties brewed. They also have Italian sodas, frozen drinks, and a delicious latte shake(ice cream and espresso… can’t get much better). I highly recommend stopping in here anytime you drive down 42⁄72!

Had the most amazing cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time. WOW. Must have something to do with the fact that they roast their own beans. Their to-go cups even have another hole on top to let the aroma escape while you’re drinking it. I’m no coffee connoisseur, but I’d say it’s quite a step above Starbucks. Adorable location. Will definitely be coming back to try more drinks!

I’ve never had a bad experience here until today… The doors(all 3) were locked upon us walking up to them. I called to see if they were open and the man on the other end said«We opened at noon!» We walked up to the doors at 12:39! After calling a group of white ppl we’re walking up to the doors and they were unlocked… Does my $ not spend the same as theirs? Smh racism is only getting stronger and our children do not stand a chance. I’ve raised my boys never to see color, but their color will always be a factor in some ppls decisions. #DividedWeStandUnitedWeFall

Excellent coffee and sandwiches for a wonderful lunch. Love the back deck area for a casual view of the water below.

Stony Creek is a quaint little place. It’s in an old post office. Their coffee is roasted in house and is honesty quite good. When it comes to their staff, the owner, Taylor, is a real connoisseur of coffee; otherwise, the staff is pretty run of the mill. They’re very friendly, but not the best baristas. The drinks are good, but not great. The food at Stony is tasty and most of the time is worth the wait. All in all, an enjoyable place to spend time in Cedarville.

Amazing coffee and hot chocolate. Bought my husband fresh beans of the General’s blend coffee. He says it’s the best coffee he’s ever had and he’s a big coffee drinker.

A great hidden gem in the back country of Ohio, by Cedarville. You must check it out after visiting the falls. Homemade soups and sandwiches are very tasty and coffee is roasted in house. Dont forget the homemade soda! I recommend this place for lunch for sure!

Best coffee in town by far! Great atmosphere, amazing deck out back, and delicious drinks! They do all the roasting in store which is very cool! I’d suggest getting an americano or a mocha shake, both are fantastic!

Just tried this place! I got a vanilla latte and my husband got a regular coffee, they were both really good. The shop is cute and I love the huge coffee bean roaster swishing the coffee bean around. Very cool. I was very slow at around 7pm. I like that it’s open until midnight so we can go there late and hang out. We want to sit outside on the deck when it is warmer. We both got paninis and they were just okay and they were out of soup. Wish the food was a little better. Also, I purchased a really cool coffee bag journal while I was there. Very unique. We had fun! We will for sure be back.

Stoney creek roaster roasts their beans. They always provide me with quality coffee. There has only been one time when the baristas do not know how to make the drink I ordered. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato and I caused a ruckus. I suggest going here for coffee if you need to study or if you just really like exposed brick walls.

This place has pretty good coffee & it’s in a very nice location– something I’d look for in a coffee shop, out of the way, rustic, quiet, peaceful. So the location points to all these things, but unfortunately, the staff ridded the café of the peace & quiet. I brought my book & iPad because I wanted some r&r with a good book & maybe wrote some reviews, but the entire time I was there(about 1 hr so far) the staff & a couple of their friends were watching YouTube music videos & singing loudly singing! The songs ranged from hit list/popular songs now to musical songs(currently listening to Wicked’s «popular»). Wow… How could anyone actually get work done? Isn’t that partially why people come to coffee shops? Quite a shame because I like everything about the place otherwise. I even got a blueberry scone that was really good, but the karaōke staff made it unpleasant. I’ve been waiting hoping they would stop eventually, but no.

Fresh roasted coffee beans and quality ingredients make for some of the best lattes and mochas around. Be sure to try the feta and sundries tomato panini and the soup of the day! The environment makes for a good place to chat or study, and when it’s warm you can sit on the deck overlooking the gorge!

Stoney Creek is a great little place right in downtown. What makes Stoney unique is that they roast their own beans in-house. It has a rustic feel and they sell locally-made crafts and artwork. Also I recommend picking up some of their freshly roasted beans to take home. They have great seating areas, in the front room, side room by the fire place, in the basement, or on the back deck. The deck overlooks the creek and gorge that you miss from the street. They have excellent coffee and espresso. The menu includes, teas, coffee, smoothie’s and more. They have a mall amount of baked goods and soups, panini’s and other sandwiches. A great place to sit back, relax, study, meet people or grab a drink on the go. The prices are pretty reasonable. Just beware of slow internet if they’re busy. They service is always great and the owners and staff are really friendly. It is a great little place that offers a lot.

great little café. it’s about time that cedarville had a good roaster. +1 for friendly service. +1 for surprising good decaf. +1 for having two rooms(suitable for study space) +1 for using square to take credit card payments. –1 for awkward layout in the main room. traffic flow issues. recommended.

My husband and I had a «day date» and one of our favorite things to do is to hang out at a coffee place with good ambiance. We were looking for something new and I came upon this place online. This is decidedly further than we would normally drive for a cup of coffee, but we thought that it would be an adventure and I am glad that we took the trip. I’m not going to lie, I was getting worried as we pulled on the main drag and the whole block looked like it could use rehabbing, but we decided to be bold and we went into the only nice looking store front and it was lovely. The barista greeted us warmly, asked us specifics about our order(did my husband want lots of foam on his cappuccino or less…) and even offered to heat up a piece of coffee cake that was prewrapped. We took our coffees and coffee cake into the adjoining room with the fireplace and had a nice little breakfast. I REALLY wanted to check out their beautiful deck which overlooks a wooded creek, so despite the rain, we took the stairs down and went outside to see it and seriously folks– I would make the 45 minute drive just to sit on that deck, especially on a beautiful fall day, it’s like you are in the trees! I could go on and on about how beautiful it was, but I should also mention that the coffee was great and the coffee cake was very good as well. Take an adventure, put blinders on(to ignore most of the block) and GO to Stoney Creek Roasters!
