I stopped in here during Strawberry Festival. Luckily I totally missed the crowd that came in after me. The baristias were very helpful, and they made me an awesome minty mocha drink(I’m not very good with coffee, but I like the drinks that have caffeine but don’t taste like bitter coffee). Prices were comparable with other coffee shops; my drink was above-average quality. Super cute inside and they have tables outside. I would definitely stop back here for a fun drink when I am in Cedarburg!

Unique selection of a diverse source of coffees — roasted by the people at Java House — quaint and unique environment with the nicest people. The place is FILLED with the smell of fresh roasted coffees. Absolutely worth a visit.

I adore the Java House, from the friendly Barista’s to the warm and cozy atmosphere. This is what I aspire to when I retire. Maybe then I will finally know the secret ingredients of the J’Mocha…

Good coffee, adorable place. We are on the hunt for the best Americanos and are currently comparing our«ten» from Marigold’s in Madison to pretty much everything else. We ranked this one a 7. Good, but doesn’t come close to Marigold’s!

The best coffee shop around. A perfect place to sit and read with a cup of quality coffee. Great staff and atmosphere.

This is an update to my original review, to set the record straight on the«magic beans.» The owners of Java House roast their own coffee. Back in 2006 this was not the case. They do it offsite, so you do not get to see the equipment or take in the aroma(not everyone likes it). Again — best baristas and espresso!

I don’t know much about secret beans, but the Java House is one fine café.

The secret beans are amazing and can’t be beat! He’ll never tell you where he gets them and once you taste the coffee you’ll understand why! Free wifi and a nice corner location with a few outside seats when seasonable.
