We stopped in on New Year’s Eve and the bar was warm and inviting. I really like the remodeling they did in the bar area. The place was clean and the bartender was very friendly.

When I’m home in Cedar Rapids I spend a lot of time here. Tall boys are reasonably priced, plus you can drink mini pitchers, play pool, apple pie shots, throw some darts. Lots of good regulars and a laid back atmosphere for having a good time. Plus, you’ve got Bill the bartender. The best bartender in town!

Bill, the bartender, is the heart and soul of this place, and is one of the reasons that I keep coming back. You see a lot of the same faces, which gives the bar a sort of familiarity. Great prices and close to home.

The Break Room is a small hole-​in-​the-​wall bar. I love it! The bartender was very friendly and in a great mood. There are 3 pool tables, megatouch, pinball, and probably darts. The best part is the Happy Hour specials! All this month you can get $ 1.50 wells and $ 1 apple pie shots… every day, all day! And let me tell you, the apple pie shots are AMAZING!!! I think I’ll be back on a few more Sundays! :)
