Staff was pleasant, building new and clean. Had a BB size mole shaved to extract a biopsy specimen and the stump Nitrogen frozen in just a few minutes. Paid insurance copay. Got bill in mail with alarmingly large numbers with a small part listed as «payment — Insurance» and often a much larger number noted as «write off — Insurance». Paid that. Second bill, paid that. Biopsy came back NEGATIVE. I’m Going to LIVE happily ever after… But WAIT! Then yet another bill which dwarfs all of the other charges; for Destruct B9. The charges are larger than either the office visit or the biopsy. The sample was ~1/10 inch in diameter and paper thin; just enough to glance at under a microscope. It is not as though they had to deposit an Ebola infested, amputated leg in an EPA Toxic Waste site. A total ripoff! A Gouging! A Gaming of the system. Preposterous. Filed complaint with the Texas Medical Board and asked my insurance company to investigate this absurd practice. Blacklisted!

My family will not be coming back to your Cedar Park location. While we will greatly miss the physician at this clinic who is wonderful, your staff there is just terrible. From prescriptions, appointment scheduling. I just hung up from trying to make an appointment after getting put on hold and subsequently be bumped around to 4 people who kept asking me my name. This is a common occurrence for me. Prescriptions require an advance degree to understand how to fill them and once you do it’s more phone calls with a shipping company to get them. On top of all of this, they will not refill prescriptions unless you make another appointment. This is a convoluted, non customer service oriented environment. Again — I do want to say that the physician is awesome, the whole family loved him. This office has serious issues and sad to see such a great doctor supported by incompetent people.

I had Dr. Jones and I was not impressed. I was excited about them having evening appointments which helped great with my work schedule. Dr. Jones came in and just started rattling off loads of information and the 3 different products he was going to put me on. He never once came up and looked at my face, or asked any questions I was sure were standard. He wanted me on several pills that required frequent blood test, and I was not having any of that! Needless to say the topical he put me on(the only prescription I used from him) did not work and I found a new dermatologist close to my work. My new dermatologist is totally opposite! Very caring and asking all questions, took time to look at my face, and suggested something totally different that worked! He even told me from the beginning he would not even think of putting me on those pills! So glad I made the switch.

I’ve been coming to this location for over three years. I’ve seen several different doctors. The staff is friendly and at my most recent visit with a new doctor, Dr. Sulochana Bhandarkar, M.D. I was impressed once again. I appreciated the time she took to get to know me, and thoroughly explain everything regarding skin-examinations. Wonderful doctor! I’ve also been to the Georgetown location for several things and am just overall impressed with the professionalism and expertise the doctors have to offer.

First, let me say Dr. Jones was very friendly and knowledgable. My complaint is not with him or his services but with their billing department. When I called prior to my visit I was told they accepted my insurance. However, what they don’t tell you is that even though you visit the«office» they charge everything as a surgical procedure. I had two moles removed and my bill is over $ 350.00 so far. This does not count the lab bill. I was expecting just an office visit co-pay. When I called to question this I was told«well, this is a speciality service». I would have appreciated that information when I called to inquire. It also seems like I have been double billed so watch your charges! I don’t mind paying for services I need to receive, but I would really appreciate a business that is upfront with their cost and not out to hit you with a much larger bill than expected. It felt very sneaky and has caused me to seek dermatology assistance elsewhere.

They never contacted me about the results of my culture when they told me they have the results but needed the doctor to sign off on them. They said they would definitely call me before the end of the day and NEVER did. This is all AFTER they told me they constantly check their fax machine and would contact me ASSOON as the results were in! VERY unhappy. I am dealing with a potentially serious problem that I want solved. I guess this place just doesn’t care about their patients feelings/health…

I had a good experience here. The staff was friendly, warm and efficient, and the doctor was personable enough. I may have felt a tad bit rushed, but hey – it was an end-of-day appointment, so it’s understandable. He checked all the boxes, so to speak, and I got the skin exam I came for. The nurse was knowledgeable enough – she got done what needed to be done, and conveyed the information I think she meant to convey. And, as a side note, she is the gentlest local-anesthesia-giver that has ever lived(I had to get a small spot removed). She has it down to a science; I literally barely felt it. Overall a positive experience, and I would certainly recommend Vitaology to a friend.

Well, unlike these other reviewers, I did not have Dr. Cabrera because she was not available. This place seems very hit or miss. Sometimes I go in and have little to no wait. While other times, I’m waiting in the lobby 20 minutes and then in the patient room for another 30 minutes. Every time I go,(which has been 4 visits over the last 2 months for a skin condition) it seems impossible to get the same doctor. Are they staffing the Doctors at multiple locations — is that why? But, its hard for a skin condition to heal or improve when different doctors or PAs see you each time you visit. Why 3-stars even? Well, the staff is polite and friendly. Never had any billing issues(…yet). And the PA, Dr. Mitchell seems very sweet, my favorite so far. I expect to increase this to 4-stars, or at least hoping to, in my next few visits. But, they’ve got to get me a consistent staff.

Wow. Dr. E. Cabrera is amazing. Such a wonderful person and doctor. I came in for one concern and she was so thorough and shared so much. Gave me exactly what I needed to know and have seen dramatic improvements already in my skin! I will return, no doubt!

Dr. Elizabeth Cabrera is a GREAT dermatologist! She is caring, sweet and really takes the time to listen to her patients. She treats her patients like a person and not a dollar sign. I have had five moles removed, four today(11−2−11) and one a year ago. The one a year ago healed very nicely. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable, the care is above and beyond and makes sure that everything is done right the FIRST time! A plus in dermatology for me! :) I have been a person who has suffered from psoriasis for more than ten years. She really knows what she is doing. My psoriasis was gone in two weeks after seeing her last year for some updates on the medication. With medication, I am able to keep my scalp and elbow psoriasis under control. I highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Cabrera for ALL of your dermatology needs! I will continue to see Dr. Elizabeth Cabrera for my yearly check-ups. I look forward to seeing her and her outstanding team on 10−31−12! Her team is great too. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of if Dr. Elizabeth Cabrera is not in sight. Jose is great at making sure that the communication from the patient to Dr. Cabrera is correct and that there is no mis-communication. Another PLUS for me too! Again, making sure that everything is done right the FIRST time! :) :) Check Vitaology Skin Care out for yourself and receive a wonderful experience! Keep up the great work team! Happy Holidays!
