Love the RedHorn! Top notch relaxation spot. Like a local bar but way better! Appropriate for families. Big tables for playing games together! Game shelf! AWESOMECOFFEES&BEERS! Light food menu is stellar. WISH I could visit daily!

Pros: — absolutely fantastic beer brewed here: The HapSlappy. Or, just ask for a ‘Slappy’ or a ‘Slap’. This is a winner and deserves all accolades and finely buzzed one-night stands brewed into this fantastic beer. Make it a point to find it in your local brewpub! — Great friendly and knowledgable staff! Excellent customer service in this place. Always a smile! — Nice big tables and friends, couples, singles, and families. Even pets! — outside/inside. Nice outside benches and a private back group room. — Coffee is amazing. Cons: — The fruit flies. Constantly here and have not gone away. Swatting them is becoming a natural thing to do if one comes here. It’s kind of video-game, like. Swat the fruit-fly before it gets in your beer or food or you breath it in, or your scalp itches because one of the many fruit flies accidentally got stuck in your hair. Time for that to change. It’s gross. Which brings me to: — Food is lacking in quality. The food is inconsistent and pricey. In my opinion, the only good things on the menu are the croissant and the salad, which is very inconsistent depending on who works here on the day you order. The other items, ie panini, are way over priced to come with chips. No pickles. Not even a pat of butter for the croissant. But they do warm it up with a warm smile, which is a good thing. Beer, coffee and food go together, for sure. But there’s no real middle ground of value in this department when it comes to food offerings at Redhorn. The food is either too pricey and lacking true value, or it’s more affordable fair that is made somewhere else and sold as-is. Not too many options here. Shame.

Went there last weekend and had tons of fun! The grilled cheeses were good but the drink selection was even better. My boyfriend and I had the perfect evening, made even better by live music and board games!

Great coffee. Plus games to play while you enjoy the atmosphere of a pub with a coffeehouse feel. Great place for date night or double date.

Great addition to Cedar Park. Beer selection is fantastic and while the menu isn’t extensive, the food is solid(the meat and cheese plates are a favorite). Really I’d give them 4.5 stars if possible because the coffee isn’t as good as I’d like it to be. They roast their own beans and for whatever reason it’s just not to my taste(same with their cold brew). But since I couldn’t go half — and I really do like this place — I’d rather round up than down!

(Coffee House Review) Red Horn has the best cappuccino I’ve found in North Austin. It was exactly what I was looking for after being disappointed by CBTL. Much more like California or Berlin. I’m deducting a star because the croissant was too americanized. One of those heavy, doughy versions, not the light and flaky kind I expect.

This place is nothing short of pure awesomeness! I went last night with a buddy and sampled several of their beers in a «flight». Then I bought a pound of their«Ethiopian» coffee grounds to take home. .ever. Service, ambiance, product, all outstanding…

I keep forgetting to review Red Horn — which is strange because it is one of my favorite places to go hang with friends and chat while having a cup of coffee. I’m really not into beer, but my husband and I have gotten several growlers here to share with friends during parties, as well as one for my Dad as a thank you for watching our house while we were away. I’m sure I’ll be echoing everything that everyone has already said about the greatness of Red Horn, but here goes nothing. I’m surprised that Red Horn is as popular as it is, considering that is tucked way behind the busy Parmer/1431 hub, in a formerly almost dead strip mall behind Goodwill, Sonic and a Credit Union. Alas, it’s hopping — like all the time. People come here to hang out, drink beer and coffee, socialize, or better yet communally work during the day to get out of the house. In fact, in my HOA, the power has gone out a few times this last week and on the HOA Facebook page, everybody always says, «Well, I guess I’m headed down to Red Horn until the power goes back on!» They have tons of seating, and tons of seating options and even a small back room that you can rent for small get togethers. The Owners are always around, and you can always catch them being friendly and working hard among their employees. The front counter staff, especially the girl with the tattoos is always incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick with orders. I’ve had several short, but great conversations with her that helped me feel incredibly comfortable at Red Horn. In a nutshell, I love having Red Horn near my neighborhood. I come back here time and time again because this establishment is what local business is all about. Thank you Red Horn, for being amazing.

So I am rarely in Cedar Park but I think I can see myself coming up here more often for this place. There is a ton of space, you could probably host a mid-sized party here and everyone be comfortable. They double as a craft-brewery and coffee shop. The beer is awesome and the coffee is awesome. The staff is pretty chill and the wifi is legit. They have some good food selections too so you can totally make a day of it here. I think I spent about 4 hours here when I went. Would totally recommend it. Even if you live in South Austin, make the trip at least once!

My moms’ group met here for coffee, and I will definitely be coming back! I’ve only tried the coffee side, so I can’t speak for the other kind of «brew.» The coffee, though, was fantastic. And though the chocolate-ship croissant was a bit firm for my taste, it was still very good. The atmosphere is wonderful! Nice place to sit with a group of girlfriends.

We’ve been here many times since my first review and it’s still great. BUT it’s missing something. Finger food. I know they have cheese/meat plates which are delish but man… chips and or nuts are totally missing. A lot of time we come here after work and didn’t eat dinner yet and it’s missing that finger food… yeah. Please owners! Please make finger food happen!!! :)

Just checked this place out and we will definitely be back! Way bigger than I expected it to be on the inside, cool décor and omg the coffee. I got a Iced Chai and my hubby had an Iced Latte and although mine was good, I found myself wanting to steal my husbands. Not nasty burnt tasting coffee that you have to add a bunch of stuff to like Starbucks but a coffee that you want to taste because it tastes so good. And I’m not a big coffee fan, but if I had an unlimited spending account I’m pretty sure I’d be sucking iced lattes down from this place every day. Can’t wait to come back and try the beers :)

I liked it, the beer is what I came for but the atmosphere is definitely a good vibe. A little tricky getting into especially if you turn in from the 1431 side. I tried several different beers while there, and they were all great. I’ll have to go back soon

Yes, I am a fan. Looked at other reviews and I already knew what I wanted when I walked in. A Brewlato please! Great place to hang out alone, with your honey and friends. It’s not too noisy, the place is clean, staff is friendly. Great selection of brew — beer, coffee and tea.

Awesome local haunt for those in cedar park. I like it because any time of day I can get a nice cup of coffee and a place to work or some awesome(rotating) local beers. My wife likes tea and wine, I like coffee and beer. We can both come here and enjoy our time. They have a great vegetarian menu for my wife(she loved the cheese plates, hummus, and grilled cheese). Not so much restaurant food but you can only do so many things right ya know? On the weekend cool place to come for some great live music. Lots of families hanging out if you’re looking for a place to do that. I’m a gamer and we both indulge in the board and card game selection which is also great for kids. I do like that there aren’t a TON of kids around most times. Staff is nice, rotating beer selection is good and I love having the place right around the corner in cedar park.

Red Horn is an exceptional find! The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. All of their food and beverage offerings are exceptional. Love that there are options for both coffee and beer. The charcuterie boards have beautiful presentation and are delicious. I also recently discovered the ‘Brewlato’ and I’m never going back… this option include espresso, gelato and their amazing espresso stout. Best of all worlds! I recommend that you make an espresso float with your gelato. This place is excellent for hanging with friends and even date night. There host lots of local musical artists as well. Don’t miss out!

(Oh my. Cedar park is definitely becoming like«Brooklyn» with all its artsy and creative Businesses. Just you watch austinites. Soon, y’all will be clamoring to hang out in cedar park.) Have u watched friends? Coz this place reminds me of central perk. A very cool version of central perk. A combination of causal and elegant. A blend of caffeine and hops. A place where you can come up with your next great idea, or just relax with the family. There are 30 beers on tap. Yes. And 7 in house brews. Plenty of ipa s, a couple of coffee stouts and some good ales. Most Of them range from $ 5 to $ 6 but there’s a couple that’s $ 8. There’s a pretty good coffee menu, with an affogato and a stout affogato(I dunno how to spell affogato) My problem is with the food. It’s just … Meh. If there’s beer, please for god’s sake include a pizza or at least a byop option. Cheese plates and hummus won’t cut it. Nope. Beer needs junk food on the side. At least a healthyish taco. Not hummus. No. The hummus with pita is $ 6, affogato $ 4.50 and cheese plate $ 11.(kinda steep, No?) Forget the food. The atmosphere is out of this world. Where can you have coffee and beer and play board games and listen to live music at the same time? That too in cedar park??? And it’s pretty darn family friendly. My kiddo loved the atmosphere.(Saw lots more kiddos there: I’m not the only beer drinking mom, okay??) I’m planning on becoming a regular. Coz I apparently can’t go 4 days without beer. Or a few hours without coffee. Yes, I’m that person. You have my word. I will never lie. And I guarantee you’ll love this place. Maybe Not the food, but the beer and the feel of the place — certainly. I promise.

Came in here late on a Sunday evening… completely empty… not surprising considering the location of this neat little coffee shop. You walk in and have your choice of a nice square table, a couch or cool chair with a coffee table, or a stool at the bar behind the beer brewing… things? There’s even a room that’s slightly sectioned off for a more private/quiet environment. I ordered a mocha, as usual. Perfect drinking temperature(for me), just sweet and chocolaty enough, but there was a weird… something to it. Not a bad weird… just weird. Something in the espresso… oddly sweet? Idk. Not bad, just weird. I followed the mocha up with their chai latte. Nice and spicy, a bit heavy on the cloves. Would totally order both again. Hubby ordered a beer, naturally. They offer an impressive number of beers on tap. If you can’t make up your mind, they’re happy to offer you a taste, and if you STILL can’t make up your mind, why not try 5 in a flight? I hope this place does well because it’s location is concerning and they clearly put a lot into the place. Good luck Red Horn!

My two addictions… craft coffee and craft beer, in an unlikely location, behind a Goodwill in sleepy Cedar Park. Red Horn does it right. The space is open, with a hip vibe… something that you would find in the trendy parts of Austin. The people are friendly and most importantly, the establishment is family-friendly. There are board games and live music on Friday nights. They do pour overs and have my favorite craft coffee, Wild Gift. 24+ taps of local brews, including their own. Food offering is minimal, but who needs food when you’ve got beer?

The folks behind Red Horn Coffee House and Brewing Company brewed up something super special for Cedar Park! I stopped in the second day of their soft opening. Walking in I was taken aback on how much detail went into the layout, design and décor. Exposed brick, nice artwork, roaster proudly displayed front and center and lots of different seating areas to get cozy. Near the tap wall is a small bar and modern picnic tables giving it a biergarten feel. Near the coffee you will find nice chairs with tables giving it a comfortable atmosphere conducive to meeting up with friends or getting some work done. They also have a back room with comfy couches. They have 25 beers on tap of which almost all are Texas brews. Notably they scored some excellent kegs. They will rotate but do come here soon for the«BOMB!» Imperial Stout while it lasts. The brewer, Zach Gardner, will likely begin brewing this week. They will have their own«mainstay» beers on the taps in a couple weeks. Flights run $ 12 with a small up-charge for speciality beers. Jared Hill manages the coffee program. They will likely have their roaster up and running a couple weeks too. In the meantime they are serving Wild Gift coffees. They do the works to include drip, hand pour over, cold brew seasonal affogato and Red Horn brewlato. What is an affogato and brewlato? Affogato is gelato with espresso for you to pour over. Sounds awesome right?! The brewlato is the affogato with an espresso ale. Right now they are serving some delicious chocolate truffles from Austin Truffle Co. I tried the raspberry truffle which paired nicely with my glass of Pinot Noir. They also serve Austin’s beloved Antonelli’s cheese and meat plates. When the kitchen is in full run they will serve upscale paninis(one veggie friendly), pita with hummus and salads. With a decent wine selection, incredible tap line up, great atmosphere and close to home, you can bet Jesse and I will be regulars at the Red Horn. I met the partners behind Red Horn Jon and Chad who worked very hard on making this place perfect which includes a solid team. The duo wanted to bring something nice to the community and mission accomplished. They officially open today so come visit this sweet new place in Cedar Park.
