Image Cleaners

I have been going to this dry cleaners for over seven years now, at least once or twice every week, and I have never had anything but the highest level of service, professionalism and quality from them. We have had a couple of bad experiences with other dry cleaners in the past, but never have we been unhappy with Image at Parmer and 1431 in the past seven years. The owner Jay is always a pleasure to chat with while he promptly and pleasantly helps me or my husband. Because I am such a long time customer, he knows all of my clothes personally and has them waiting for me as soon as he sees my car pull up. He also took the time to make a personal phone call to me when I was out several weeks after major surgery to see how I was doing and he even recently called and left me a message apologizing to me because he couldn’t talk with me when I came in to pick up my clothes, because he was on an important phone call. I thought that was really above and beyond in showing real concern about his loyal customers.
In the entire seven years of 1 – 2 visits a week to this business, only one time did I ever have an item of clothing lost and that was a single blouse when there was a new employee who checked in my clothing and, I am sure because I was polite and understanding about the error, I was immediately and fully credited the cost of the blouse on my dry cleaning (which I was honest about the value of the blouse only being $ 35. I think many dry cleaners become leery because customers often try to inflate the value of an item of clothing to a dry cleaners if something goes wrong.) I learned long ago that, if you are fair and honest in doing business with people, they will usually be just as fair and honest with you. I can’t say enough good things about doing business with Jay and Image Cleaners on Parmer at 1431 in Cedar Park. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been using Image for the past few months and have been very happy with the cleaning and their customer service.

Not sure why everyone hates on this place. I have used them a few times and have never had a problem. The staff has always been meticulously polite, and they have always delivered what they promised. Nothing special enough to warrant a five star rating, but I have not seen anything to warrant the string of one star reviews.

I have been coming to this cleaner for six years and have been very happy with it until the past few weeks. I don’t know if it’s a new owner or employee but he lost a customer forever. I dropped off a suit a few weeks ago for cleaning and he kept insisting my phone number was associated to a woman named Mary with my same last name. I kept telling him, I promise my name is not Mary… I’m a 6’2″ 200 lb man… very much not a Mary. I got the suit back and wore it once, noticed there was still a bit of dirt left on the sleeve. Figured it would be no problem, brought it back. He looked up my account (again…Mary) and said I haven’t been there for months. Which is ridiculous, he gave me the suit himself last week. I talked with him for a while and he called me a liar trying to scam him.
After that conflict, I moved on to my real reason for visiting and that was picking up my two suits. He told me that it was a «shirt redo» and was already picked up. I showed him my receipt for FIVE pieces and he argued with me that I was wrong. I can’t imagine arguing with a customer holding my own company’s receipt. We have a heated exchange in front of another customer and finally I insist again that he look me up by my real name. He finds my suits and pulls them out with no apology for being wrong.
We part by him saying he would be happy to have redone the suit if I were a better customer but that I wasn’t and he thinks I’m scamming him so he won’t. He starts looking up my real six year profile and I told him to forget it, I don’t do business with people so unprofessional.
Too many dry cleaners on 1431 to do business with this guy.

I cannot believe these people are still in business. If the rest of the employees are as rude as the owner. Who said his name was Jay. Do not leave anything you value at all at this place. Your garment will will never be the same. It will be ruined. And they will take no responsibility for the damage. If I go give 0 stars I would.

RUN! These people will RUIN your clothes and act as though they don’t understand what the problem is! Twice I took them dress clothes and both times they came back with more dirt and hair on them than when I dropped them off. Plus, my shirts had stains that weren’t there before. After filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau, the owner offered to refund $ 20 of an over $ 100 order. Two of my good shirts had to be thrown away.
This place is a SHAM and the owner is a jerk! BE WARNED.
