I like fumee but I can’t give it more than 3 stars. I love cigars and truly enjoy a good cigar lounge. I first visited fumee over two years ago and have enjoyed a cigar there probably 20+ times. Unfortunately, I can’t rate it higher than 3 stars. The selection is less than average, the humidity is questionable, and I have to bring an extra set of clothes to change into before and after I go in to the store. The smell is absolutely ridiculous. Smoke really doesn’t bother me, but fumee absolutely needs to install more ventilation. The place is very relaxing and the service is always attentive. I don’t want to hurt their business, so try it for yourself. You’ll probably enjoy it.

*sigh* So I quit smoking in January 2009, and thanks to my E-Cig haven’t gone back for more than an odd week I spent aboard a cruise ship. This relapse was largely due to spending a lot of time in the Carnival Conquest’s Cigar Lounge, Alfred’s, hanging with my cigar afficionado friends. Once we got back to land, we looked for a cigar lounge to hang out at. Fumée fit the bill. It’s a nice place with beer, wine and teas. There’s comfortable seating and in our experience good ventilation. The prices are reasonable, I am assured by my cigar-smoking friends, and I have discovered a new guilty pleasure — the hookah. Fumée has two hookas available for folks that aren’t into cigars or are looking for something different. They have many flavors of shisha, and have a reasonable $ 10/fill price T-Su, with Mondays being ½ price hookah. I have to say that I’m looking very forward to going back and sampling some more shisha flavors. The real struggle for me is NOT to make too regular a thing of it. A nice, friendly and comfortable environment like Fumée is just too enticing for me to want to drop by for a hookah way too ofen. It’s exactly the feel of Fumée that makes me enjoy being there. It’s not full of hipsters or just-turned-18s, it’s not loud… I gues now that I’m on the high side of 35 I’m looking for quiet in a place to unwind. Check this place out– it’s a pretty nice venue to just relax.

OK, a voice of reason. I am a cigar guy. I am a hoohka guy. I am a beer guy. i live in Leander and work 2 blocks from here. I wanted to love this place. I really did. Everything the others say about staff, selection and prices is true. I have had both hoohka and cigars here. They have one fatal flaw that no one else has mentioned here. This place is a clam bake. They really need to fix the ventalation and suck the smoke out of here so you can enjoy your stoogies. Hard to breath and eyes on fire. They had a tip jar on the bar to help buy a new unit to help with that the last time I was there, so maybe they fixed it. Again, I am a cigar guy, not a non smoking whinner. I order Cubans on the internet. I own a hoohka and have tons of shisha. But the smoke in here is like being on the set of a Jack The Ripper movie.

Summarizing my experience & other Unilocalers’ reviews: They have alcohol so this review starts at 5 stars. And very reasonable price. I had their cheapest port and it was darn tasty. And if you get drinks during their happy hour, it’s down right cheap. Their cigar selection is decent. Not as extensive as Heroes & Legacies, but then again, you don’t have to pay to sit inside and smoke here. The prices are right on. But because of their selection, or lack thereof, I take away a star. Hard to find — I went here at 9pm and it was pitch dark in the area. I drove past it first time. The outside of the building didn’t look like I imagined it in my head. The only downer is that their TV system needs improvement — when I went, the football game was not in HD. I think they can benefit by having a TV towards front of the place so that when I’m seated facing the entrance, I can watch tv. Overall, I will be going here often. Actually, make that very often.

Wow! I feel silly that I didn’t know places like this existed! Or maybe they don’t really, and this is just as unique and cool as it felt! Last night my fiancé was hankerin’ for a cigar, and we looked to trusty Unilocal for help finding something that was open after 9pm(otherwise we probably would have just gone to Spec’s). I found this place and read the other two most recent reviews to him, and that was enough for us. I think this place has everything but food– but it’s still modest in size. It could never be crowded, even though it’s so small, because the layout is perfect– relaxed, chill, easy-going… Where’s my thesaurus? It was a cold night and the door was propped open, but it was comfortable inside. The ventillation system is great– you could smell cigars, sure, but you aren’t breathing in cigar smoke if you don’t want to. The humidor is surprisingly well-stocked for being the size of a decent walk-in freezer– and even with 5 people in there at once it’s not crowded. The cigar prices are also great– better than Spec’s!- which was a pleasant surprise. And we found a cigar my man had smoked for his 25th birthday that he loved, at a good price. Yay! There is good-looking, in-great-shape leather seating in front, with leather automans that flip so you can prop your feet up, or set your drink down, or play a board game with a few friends. There’s a table that would seat probably 8 people, and more seating in the back that I didn’t get to see very well because we didn’t stay(just bought the cigars and smoked at home). Or you can sit at the bar. There’s a nice but not gigantic TV up in the corner in case you want to watch the game, but those of us usually indifferent to sports(ahem, me) won’t be bothered by it. Everyone there was chill and friendly. The girl behind the counter was great– greeted us warmly, asked if we needed any help, and happy to ring us up quickly even though we weren’t staying. And they have hookah! This makes me soooo happy since I don’t smoke cigars(just love the smell). We didn’t get drinks but everyone else there had drinks in hand, and I hear the prices are good. And the specials! As we left we were making plans to bring certain friends back there with us on particular nights for the different specials. We can’t wait to go back.

Visited on a whim after finding on Unilocal. My wife and I were ready for a relaxing cigar and mellow atmosphere. We were not disappointed. The humidor is modest, but contained some quality sticks at great prices. If a member of CRA, be sure to mention this. For a lounge, I only wish I lived in the area, because all the patrons were very friendly, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Forget about any negative reviews… check this place out and enjoy a relaxing evening with great atmosphere!

I’m not exactly a cigar smoker, but I suppose Fumee could change all of that. I dropped in a few weeks ago with two companions who are more into cigars than me, but I still had an excellent time. Fumee is doing a lot of things right. First — some decent $ 3 beers, all the time, including Shiner and(I believe) Fireman’s #4. Swing by on a Tuesday and all beer and wine is an extra $ 1 off. $ 2 beers that aren’t High Life or Lonestar? This makes Jennie very happy. If you’ve ever had a hankerin’ for a hookah, they’re half-price at Fumee every Monday, all night. Sweeeet. Wednesday is $ 5 wine flights, Thursday I believe is $ 10 bottles of Oxford Landing wines, and Friday is just straight up half-price wine. That’s hard to beat, folks — and worth the drive up north, especially when all of these specials, with the exception of $ 5 wine flights, last until midnight. My boyfriend ordered a latte that was pretty decent(and actually tasted like coffee, as opposed to hot milk that smacks slightly of coffee), even though they clearly do not have any coffee shop-caliber espresso equipment and their foam isn’t anything to speak of. This isn’t the kind of hand-crafted drink you’d get at JP’s or Houndstooth, but it’s cheap and strong, and if you order an espresso drink you get unlimited drip coffee refills all night. Fantastic. Once you settle into one of the ridiculously comfy leather chairs with your beverage of choice and a board game laid out(they have lots to choose from!), it won’t matter whether you’re smoking a cigar or not. But if that’s your bag, the humidor here is large and the selection is decent. If, like me, you don’t know much about cigars, the employees are more than happy to assist you. I was really impressed with their ventilation system: it’s not a large place but even with probably 15 people puffin’ like chimneys, the smoke wasn’t even remotely bothersome to me. Your non-smoking friends won’t have to suffer(too much). The crowd is mostly middle-aged and the atmosphere is very laid-back. We’ll most certainly return, probably whenever we feel like relaxing with friends somewhere where we DON’T have to stand in a line at the bar or scream at each other over a jukebox.

Staff is great, the lounge is great, the events they have there are great. They have a good selection of beers but their cigar selection isn’t the best. You can find something to smoke for sure but they are often out of certain cigars and don’t have a huge selection.

I’ve been to Fumee several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. I’m not a huge cigar lover, but I enjoy going with my husband and having a drink in the comfortable atmosphere. The owner, Ralph, is super nice and has extensive knowledge of cigars. They have a nice sized walk in humidor and variety of cigars to choose from. Fumee is a great little cigar lounge to relax after a long day.

Diggin’ it! While it really didn’t snow here in Round Rock. Fumee really came in handy when it was too stinking cold outside to enjoy a stick. Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but Fumee is so delightful! And since we’ve no place to go, Let us go, Let us go, Let us Go! The beers for 4 bucks are rockin’, and the wiiine corks are a poppin’. You can bring your own hooch in tow, Let us go, Let us go, Let us GO! When we finally pick a cigar, We can sidle on up to the bar. Park on the leather lounge things Chew the fat, blowing lazy smoke rings! Ralph and Heather make the place low key, comfortable and, all things considered, fairly priced for a smoke lounge. Well done you two! You can’t beat having a walk-in humidor, loungue area, coffee, beer, wine and fellow cigar lovers to chat with. Also, the free wireless is great for when you need to get away to crank out your own manifesto, plot world domination, or just figure out where to eat tonight on Unilocal. I’ve enjoyed the varying crowds on the few times I have been. It promises to grow into one of my favorite places. One tip, look it up on google maps and realize that you have to pass it up, U-turn back South on 183 and jump straight off the ramp to the right. It’s tricky the first couple of times.

Very Comfortable and super nice people. Came here tonight to enjoy a cigar, watch Monday Night Football and crank out some work. Ralph, the owner, was super nice and helpful, and the clientele was also great. Not the selection or the ambiance of Heroes and Legacies, but also a bit more casual. Plus Fumee is opened til Midnight which is perfect for my late night schedule. I’m going to get a locker and set up shop here more often!

Fumee is a very cool cigar lounge in north, northwest Austin/Cedar Park. From the outside, it’s not impressive, and from the inside it’s alright. The leather couches and chairs are very comfortable. I’ve only been twice, but the poker table is calling my name. The humidor is only average, but this place has a cool, laid back, feel. It’s nice to find a place that’s small and not popular and not crowded. The free wifi makes it a great place to escape to and get some work done. Afterward, you can polish off your day with a beer or two, and grab one of the board games off the wall. The only criticism I have the only slightly cold beer I had last time. I should have opted for the chilled glass or asked for another. If you like to smke and need a place, and live in north Austin, give this place a try.

This is my first experience at Fumee, which is a fairly new tobacconist in Cedar Park. Fumee is setup nice with quite a few comfy chairs, some free wifi, and board games, which makes it perfect for relaxing, reading, and of course smoking. Fumee does offer a few beers and has some happy hour specials at a very reasonable prices. You can bring your own bottle in if you would like. The most important part of every tobacconist is the humidor, which is decent, but not amazing. They have quite a few good cigars, but do not have the largest selection. The prices are quite reasonable or the cigars. I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot if you live in north Austin, Cedar Park, or Round Rock area.

Love this place! I had the opportunity to finally hang out at Fumee last weekend and am very glad to have a place like this in the area. I’m a regular customer at Pipe World, but since they close at 7, there’s not much option other than my garage enjoy a good cigar in the evening, which is when I usually have time to smoke. Fumee is very friendly and offers a great atmosphere to relax with a good cigar. The humidor offers a pretty decent selection of quality cigars and the prices are in line with the other vendors in the area. Unfortunately some of my favorites are not available here, but being a relatively new store I look forward to seeing their selection expand in the future. I look forward to spending more time here for sure.

Ride off into the sunset on 183 and you will find a paradise for cigar lovers. At fumée, the leather runs smooth on every seat, the cappuccino flows quickly, your bottles of single malt Scotch are welcome, the conversations are warming and the cigars are fantastic and fairly priced. There’s no pretense here, just comfort and concern for an excellent experience. It feels more like sitting in Heather and Anthony’s living room than in a bar or club. You’ll find good coffee — yes, I said it! — and a very sensible music track relaxing you into the perfect mood to puff. So, go you throngs of afficianados, enjoy this upstart lounge — I’m giving fumée my highest rating.

Heather rocks. She has been a lover of cigars and the cigar industry since she was in school. This shop is the result of her dream and goal to bring quality cigars to people in the right atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with a cigar shop run by Heather. Check it out!
