I am saddened and angry. Del Taco Corporate decided that they needed to rip apart the happiness of us SoCal transplants who live in north Austin and close the two locations in the Austin area. You Suck, Del Taco. You suck! *crying

I’m a vegetarian. When subbing for beans, there is an upcharge, really? Food tastes salty and the cheese on macho nachos just didn’t taste right. Not the fault of the staff or managers, but just the way food is made.

Tried out the new chicken bacon salad and YUMMY! My daughter was fighting me for it. They are always fast and friendly plus you get good food. I try to take advantage of the various taco specials they have during the week. Love the grilled chicken tacos!

Place is fantastic ! For the price and the cleanliness of the restaurant I am coming back very often. I may have eaten here 3−4x in the past week. It’s that good. I would choose Del Taco over Taco Bell ESP again because of the great prices and those churros are fantastic!

Imagine an Americanized Mexican Restaurant in Northern Europe. That’s what Del Taco tastes like. But, that’s not why I’m giving them one star. I was«upcharged» to a Medium size on a combo meal by default. That is *not* okay. That fraud is what drags them down to one star.

Great prices, yummy food and pleasant workers. We got a coupon for $ 1 off our next purchase of $ 3 or more. I took the kids back and for about $ 5.80 we got a kids meal with a drink, a small nachos, a bacon quesadilla, and an iced coffee. Forget Taco Bell and Taco Bueno, run to Del Taco instead! I look forward to exploring their menu.

Not impressed. Food did not have good flavor. It was bland. So yea it taste like food from California. With no zest for food. It was my first and last time here.

Never really had del taco before but tried and it’s pleasantly delicious. The food is pretty fresh and made to order. It’s very random you get fries at a taco place but hey it makes it interesting and they are decent fries so no complaints there. I would have to say this is a step up from Taco Bell not that there is anything wrong with Taco Bell but it just seems fresher food for a fast food joint. They have a crazy good dollar menu that goes from .79 .89 or 1 for it so you can eat pretty decently cheap if you really wanted to. Their chicken roller is by far my favorite off the value menu. The chicken is actually really good here too, it’s moist and flavorful so anything with the grilled chicken is a solid bet. The ground beef is fresh and delicious so it definitely makes the tacos taste better. Again overall it’s a fast food restaurant but it’s a step up from Taco Bell. Definitely good for lunch or on the go!

When this Del Taco first opened, the food and customer service were superb. I recall the manager telling me this was a training store. I do not believe it is a training any longer because the food quality and service are not what they used to be. Having said that I feel that they are still better than the other fast food«mexican» restsurants. My meal consisted of a Go Macho Combo Medium and an order of chips with a large nacho cheese. Meal total was $ 9.27 before tax. Not too bad!

So I found that I have a love for Del Taco when I was visiting California a few years ago. Now I can go there whenever I want because they literally built one right by my home. I’m pretty happy about del taco being in cedar park.

Serendipity means a «fortunate happenstance» or «pleasant surprise». Del Taco is exactly that. Fantastic prices, fresh and yummy food. Great value! I will never go to a Taco Cabana and a Taco Bell again. Del Taco all the way!

Tried Del Taco for the first time here. I got the epic chipotle carnitas burrito upon recommendation. It wasn’t bad, I would say Del Taco is better than Taco Bell, and way better than Taco Cabana, but not as good as Chipotle or Freebirds.

So… it’s like a Taco Bell, but from California? The best thing you can do when ordering from here is to walk out the front door, turn east and walk about a block until you hit Torchy’s and order some real tacos.

Randomly driving through Cedar Park and all of the sudden I squeal like a little girl(while also clapping my hands hysterically), «Del Taco is coming!!! I can’t believe it! I’m so excited!» My boyfriend about ran the car off the road because I scared him, but anyone from good ol’ SD knows that seeing Del Taco in the Austin area is worth shouting about! It isn’t true to what SoCal Mexican food is, but if you want to think that it’s up to you. It is, however, one of the best fast food places EVER. I mean. Come on. Where else can you get a bean burrito AND french fries w/some of the best and hottest, hot sauce all in under 5 minutes — from the time you order. I don’t eat like that all the time. It just happens to be one of my most favorite splurge meals and it’s worth the calories to me. As far as the hot sauce, you can have ASMUCHASYOUWANT! They don’t hand you little packets of hot sauce — so long as you’re eating in the dining room — but rather there’s big vats of it. ALLYOUCANDRINK, errrr… I mean eat! The line was out the door in the dining area and cars were pouring out of the drive-thru the entire time we were there, but service was fast, courteous and our order was served up RIGHT!

Fish Tacos Fish Tacos Fish Tacos I know Torchy’s/Fuzzy’s et. al. are better — but I like the bang I get for the buck I spent…

I was excited to eat here after they opened, as we had eaten at Del Taco in Arizona, and really liked it! The first couple of times we ate here, the food was amazing, and the staff was super helpful and very friendly. Sadly, the food was not nearly as good the last time we ate there. No flavor… meat was rather blah… just not good. Staff was still super friendly… hope they get things back in order soon. Del Taco is usually pretty good!

Ooooh Del Taco. How I missed you, in my drunken perils over the years! Living in Cali for so many years, there are a ton of Del Tacos there. It used to be the 24 hour late night, let’s eat, after a good party, place to go. I am happy to report, that it still is! Even in Texas!!! I think their staple is the hot, fresh, criss cut fries, with cheese sauce… ooooh sooooo gooood. I like the green burritos as well. It helps soak up alot of that alcohol. The Spicy Jack Chicken Quesadilla is wifeys favorite. I know this sounds weird but try the Double Del Burger. When in an inebriated state, this burger tastes like a ribeye! So I guess I kind of owe Del Taco for sobering me up in times where my judgement was slightly impared. Thank you.

When I had to trade in my Cali drivers license for a Texas one, I recall the lady at the counter mentioning how funny California was to have fries with taco and I said that is not a California thing that is only a Del-Taco things LMAO! So Why I love this place it reminds me of my old home the most decent place where you know what you are getting without someone busting out saying its tex-mex. I am sooooo in love with the Deluxe Chili Cheese fries they are the bomb. Where else can you get em with added sour cream? Its a good place to come and eat even when you are not hung over lol.

Not too shabby for a fast food restaurant with a drive thru! I have been four times since they opened and have always had consistently quick and friendly service. I would rate the food 3 overall but the decent service should render a 3.5 if Unilocal ratings allowed. What I love: Chicken Asada with guacamole, pico, cilantro with a lime wedge on corn tortillas. What I like: Chicken Taco El Carbon with cilantro, chili sauce on corn tortilla. It is simple and flavorful. What is just OK: The Grilled Chicken Taco and the Beef taco El Carbon. The grilled chicken taco has cheap grated cheese, with iceberg lettuce, their«special» sauce, a hidden dollop of sour cream on their not so fab flour tortilla. The beef in the El Carbon taco was not sliced properly and more like a string of meat making it a mess to eat and it didn’t have a great flavor. What to skip: the crinkle fries. The quality of food is better than other fast food in the area and the prices fare better.

Upgrade version of Taco Bell only difference is they serve breakfast. It was OK nothing really to write home about and not sure what all the great reviews were about.
