LOVE THIS PLACE! The hair stylist I’d been going to for 8 years switched careers last year and it has been a looooong year finding someone as good as her. I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair and April was able to meet and exceed my expectations. My hair looks fantastic and feels really healthy for the first time in a year! When I first stepped inside the salon, everyone was very friendly. April gave me a consultation to see how I wanted my hair done and gave me an estimate. She also gave me a coupon for $ 20 off my first service and a free value added service. She showed me around the salon and made me feel very confortable.
When I came back for my appointment, April took the time to understand exactly what color I wanted, how much hair I wanted trimmed and offered me different options for achieving the cut I was looking for. She also did a great job of offering products that will help my specific needs. She also gave me an express facial which felt amazing! I made my next appointment before I left and my mom is going to start coming here also!
I’ve been getting compliments on my hair since I left and I am so glad I stumbled upon this salon while shopping in Uptown Village!

Chad is the man! He is the best hair colorist I have EVER been to, so good I actually make it a point to fly out to the DFW to get my hair done by him. He listens and is very thorough in the hair consultation and does what is best for your specific hair. He is the real deal and is a master of his craft.

My experience at this Aveda Salon is ALWAYS superb. Chad is absolutely AMAZING! He is the kind of stylist that only comes along once in a lifetime, and he definitely completes the experience at this salon. When I first saw Chad last year, my hair was a hot mess! Naturally brunette, too much sun turned my hair into this horrible yellow brassy color, and on top of that I hadnt even had a trim in over a year! (bc I was trying to grow it out which I now know, thanks to Chad, thats not the way to do it!) I wish I had before and after pictures from that visit because the transition was like night and day. Since then, Chad has given me the «hair-​courage» to branch out and do things with my hair I wouldn’t have done before. During summer, I had a gorgeous ombré look, and we’ve since transitioned into a beautiful «cherry chocolate» dark look for winter. Not only that, Chad has helped me learn how to take much better care of my hair. I’ve been able to grow it out quite a bit and it still looks better and healthier than ever! His colors are rich and his cuts edgy. I cannot speak highly enough of Chad! HE IS AWESOME!

Chad is the key to a perfect experience at Tangerine. He helps you relax and gives a great cut/​style. It is a newer salon, so it has a great, modern atmosphere. The salon offer Aveda products, cuts, color, massage, etc.

April Barnes cut my hair and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Along with the cut you get a complimentary massage and they wash your hair for no additional charge. She was just the most adorable little thing and really did an awesome job. She was very knowledgeable about the hair products and even conviced me to buy the hair putty type stuff (can’t remember the name of it now) which I have been using and it works great for styling your hair! I took in a picture of exactly what I wanted from the front and explained how I wanted the back and she got it perfect! Love this place!
