Samantha E. is wonderful. I’ve been getting my hair cut by her for 6+ years. Even after being out of the area for awhile, when I came back she remembered me and my preferences.
Laid back local salon. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is for the décor and the receptionist. The décor is dated, not retro, just old. Plus, the phone staff and front desk staff could be more friendly. This is a service industry, I expect to be well taken care of, not be felt like I’m a bother.
However, I still can’t say enough good things about Samantha. I always leave looking great, and that’s not an easy task with my fine hair.

Codie is phenomenal! I have been going to her for several years, and I will be going to her for several more. If I was just rating her, I would give her 5 stars. The atmosphere is nice. It isn’t a snobby, upscale salon. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, and I always feel like I’m just «hanging out with the girls» when I’m getting my hair done. I do wish that they offered pedicures or glasses of wine while getting your hair done. That would earn five stars from me!

I got one of the worst haircuts of my life here. I don’t think that the entire salon is horrible, but… find a stylist with good reviews here and book far in advance or else you’re really rolling the dice. The names mentioned over and over on Unilocal are usually who you should stick with.
I was trying to get in for an appointment last minute, because a relative died and I was attending a funeral the next day. I called, and the stylist I wanted was booked up for the next 2 weeks so I took whoever was available. I felt they shoved me in between appointments. The girl I got seemed rushed and didn’t really understand what I wanted done even after I showed her a picture. I was alarmed when she took a razor to my head before even feeling around to see what my hair type and texture was. I was unhappy with the end result and when she asked if I wanted it «blended’ more I said yes please. She then shaved some uneven holes in that side of my head. I didn’t see the extent of the damage until I got home. The entire thing was messy and uneven. At that point I cried. I didn’t want the same stylist to fix it, and I was too embarrassed to ask for someone else, so I didn’t bother going back in.
I did however call the salon and left a message for the manager asking them to call me back about a complaint. Never got a call. Pretty rude — I would have at least given them a chance to fix their mistake or refund my money.
The positives? You can make appointments online. The haircut was dirt cheap. The salon atmosphere itself is nice. I don’t think I’ll chance coming back, though.

I’ve been getting my hair done at Split Endings for 7+ years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Heather is amazing and everyone who works there is great!

I love this place! Codie was recommended to me by a friend and I was very impressed with her work. Codie is very professional and very quick. I get a cut, wash, dry and flat iron and I’m out of the door in 30 – 45 minutes. The price is very reasonable. No more long waits at a hair salon for me. Codie will always be the only person who cuts my hair.

Love this place! They are very welcoming and have many stylists to choose from. My favorite is Codie Chrietzberg! I tell her what I want and bam!, she does it. She’s the only stylist that has cut my hair in Texas where I don’t go home and «fix» it myself. Heather Trimble does amazing updos and makeup. I recommend her for weddings.
