We brought my ornery, Southern septuagenerian grandmother in here to pick out a new mattress — quite a tall task, considering how hard-​to-​please she is. After having her old mattress for over forty years, she picked out a new mattress within ten minutes — thanks to the help of the guys at the store. They were exceptionally patient with her (something I cannot be), even when she couldn’t particularly articulate what she was looking for. Our consultant, Jeff, was able to steer my grandmother toward what she actually wanted but was unable to say. I had gone in ahead of time to prep them for her arrival, but Jeff was so gentle and able to disregard my grandmother’s lack of tact or social graces that I could not help be impressed. Also, because this is a flagship store, the selection is absolutely unbeatable. Definitely a place to go when looking for a mattress!
