Loka Leaf Tea Lounge

As an avid tea drinker I was pleased to find this comfortable little tea oasis during a recent family visit to Cazenovia (my niece who lives nearby had recommended it to me). Friendly staff, comfortable seating and plenty of natural light for lounging or reading. This place was my daily touchstone during a long weekend in the area and I’ll surely be back next time I’m in town.

A cute little tea room that has taken over the space where Circa was. The tea room has not only tea and finger sandwiches but also a full food menu including flat bread pizza, quesadillas, etc. The traditional tea sandwiches are divine but I would also recommend the flatbread pizzas. Of course the best part of this place is the comprehensive and detailed tea menu and tea related sundries that are sold here. I particularly enjoyed the herbal teas as well as the Oolong tea, and the Nepalese teas. The teas from Nepal were a first for me and I found them to be light and refreshing. The multiple one tea menu was easy to navigate without being overwhelming, however there weren’t that many highly caffeinated tea options. My dining companion and I had a blast and would definitely go back again. Keep this place in mind for high teas, semi-​formal teas, casual teas, and any other type of tea drinking.
