Wow. Seriously? You are NOT closed. You just do not want to serve customers who are not there to watch the damn basketball game. I walked in at 8:45, was totally ignored by the waitress. I would have bought a nice expensive beer while waiting for my calzone. Service and food is worse than ever. Look out, Caz Pizza! Owaghena is open until 10:00.

I don’t know who the guy is who wears the fanny pack around his neck but he should be fired. On one occasion I saw him grab a slice off of a tray with his hand, after handling money, and throw it back in the warming oven due to messing up an order and the person not wanting it. I would’ve wrote about it sooner but I figured it was an anomaly, I was wrong. On another occasion I saw him chowing down on a slice behind the line where the people are making your pizza. These are both health violations and should not be ignored. I don’t know if he’s the owner, manager, or who he is, but it’s completely unacceptable.

Caz Pizza just jacked there prices on pizza again! Once again, if you want to pay $ 13 for a pizza eat here but if you want to pay $ 11 just go up to Tops, it much better and cheaper!

This place has potential! I ordered buffalo chicken roll and 2 slices of pizza. The pizza is in this warming thing(never saw one before?) and it wasn’t put in the oven like in most pizza places? I decided to try it any way when I got home… The cheese is almost see through and it was very doughy .but I gave it a shot. it actually wasn’t terrible! If it was warmed up correctly it would have been good! The chicken roll was good because it was made fresh… But the last bite I took had a chewy almost raw texture. I’m the worst with chicken!. But, over all I’m sure if you order a whole fresh pizza it would be good!

Caz pizza… Let’s just say stick with the actual pizza and nothing else. I ordered an Italian sub with Italian dressing and fries as a side. I also got a draft bud light… which was completely flat and tasted strange. My fries came out about 10 minutes before my sub did. When the sub finally arrived after about 25 – 30 minutes I was deeply disappointed. Heating up cold cuts and toasting bread shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes MAX! And my sub came WITHOUT the dressing like I asked but when I asked for some on the side it was never brought to me. My girlfriend got chicken Parham sub and by no surprise it was extremely awful. The breading was mush and had a strange odor. Worst $ 23 dollars ever spent.

Caz pizza has the best pepperoni rolls. It is just like it sounds. A roll of dough with cheese and pepperoni baked to perfection served with a side of pizza sauce. Good brew selection and good wings.

As a Cazenovia alumni I make it a point to visit Caz Pizza whenever I am out there. The bathroom is down a steep flight of stairs so people with mobility issues will have a problem using the restroom but the food was awesome. The buffalo chicken sub and the pizza rolls were awesome. The calzone was okay too. I will continue to visit this pizzeria as long as it remains open!

I’m a fan of Caz pizza. Its quick, its consistent, the boneless chicken teriyaki are delicious. The wait staff is so miserable! I have never seen people so unhappy, its an order at the counter set up. If they wanted to make some real money, they could do one side counter service, one side waitress, and utilize the bar and wait staff, maybe that would make them happier?

Caz pizza somehow upholds its decent reputation here in town despite almost all their menu items being mediocre at best. Being from the area, I’ve visited Caz pizza many times simply for the convenience of it. To start, their pizza is very doughy and over priced. It’s ok overall but a small here will run you the price of a large at any other comparable pizza joint. The wings they serve are always doused in grease and nearly flavorless. Some of the other items they offer can be ok at times but apart from the pizza and wings the food quality seems to be very inconsistent. Cleanliness also doesn’t seem to be the restaurant’s strong suit but on the bright side the employees are always nice.

Walking into Caz Pizza this past weekend was weird. Not weird in a bad way, weird in a I-haven’t-been-here-since-graduation-and-it-feels-like-I’m-19-again-and-the-cafateria-isn’t-serving-anything-that-looks-edible-tonight kind of way. In the town of Cazenovia there were* two pizza shops– and I’d say the student population was split with their loyalties to each one. I was a Caz Pizza kind of gal. By my senior year the owner and a couple of the kids working knew my order because we were there so often. Passing through Caz over the weekend I had to stop and order the ol’ pizza roll, just to see if it was the same as I remembered. The buffalo chicken pizza roll was a little smaller than I remember, but the flavors were the same and I enjoyed every bite. Oh, and the price hasn’t changed, $ 3.50 for a roll & sauce. It’s nice that some things don’t change. The shop has definitely changed though, its actually expanded! They have the same wood booths with chotchkies hanging above, open kitchen so you can see how your pizza is being made** but they knocked down a wall and took over the space next door. There are twice as many tables/booths and now a bar serving up at least 10 different beers on tap. So glad to see one of my favorite college hangouts is still doing well. Whether you’re going to school nearby, living local, or just passing through– grab yourself a slice, still the best pizza shops in the area. — — — — — *It has been a few years, so there may be another… a current student would need to confirm. **Or as we used to– sit and bother your friends who happened to work there.

They could use friendlier staff, and better hours. Out of the few pizza places in Caz it’s my favorite. Most of the others close and reopen fairly often, but Caz has been around for years. They do however, tend to run out of slices fairly often and it takes about 20 minutes for them to make one for you.

I personally loved Caz Pizza. The chicken bacon ranch pizza with hot sauce was always a favorite and I loved it. Their calzones are also huge and filled with toppings. Their pizza rolls are amazing too, loved the buffalo chicken pizza rolls dipped in Blue Cheese. It is the only pizza joint in Caz but don’t let it fool you, it is pretty darn good in my opinion!

This has been a staple in Cazenovia forever. It’s got a nice location right in the center of town but there pizza has never impressed me. They cook the pizza in a convection oven which leaves it a bit too soft and gooey for my tastes. If you want some real brick oven pizza you should go down the street to whatever pizza place is currently open next to the Red Apple gas station — it’s usually better(it has changed names several times… but usually is better either way)

it helps when you’re the only game in town, which caz pizza(as it’s known — not«cazenovia pizzeria» really) is. caz pizza is literally the only place to get pizza delivered in cazenovia and, unless you’re interested in buying frozen at the lovely tops grocery store, the only way to get pizza, period. there is nothing particularly bad about the pizza, but nothing that makes it stand out either. prices are on the high side for what you get. wings are extremely variable — sometimes they are pretty good, other times nearly inedible(think overcooked, hard, little/no sauce). salads are actually the high point, if you can get past the bad pre-packaged dressings. they are usually fairly fresh and come with some extras you don’t always find — broccoli, olives, etc. the delivery guys are always extremely nice and cordial, so two thumbs up on that. but the food??? what you’re really going for? meh.
