I was in a heap of trouble, no kidding! I had several priors that I’m not proud of, all related to possession and a Felony assault and misdemeanor assault on police officers because of injuries they sustained while brutally attacking me and taser gunning me 8 times, yes 8 times! I had an altercation with a friend on my patio which, unfortunately, paralyzed his forefinger which later became a charge of Felony Mayhem. California has the toughest sentences for this type of charge and I was looking at 9 years in prison. Mr. DeFrank was able to get me 6 months of house arrest and 3 years probation. I stood to lose everything and Mr. Defrank paved a way to the light that, so far, I’ve recovered in. Still one year of probation and fines to go, I think I’ll see it through successfully.
