I must say the food is very authentic and the prices are resonable. I also noted the wait staff was very responsive and helpful. But hey why read all these reviews. COMEONIN and experience the BESTMEXICAN restaurant in the area!

I am from Cali but I eat Mexican food all over the United States due to my job. This place is top notch! The flavors are on point and service is great. The two times I have been here I ordered a wet burrito with pastor pork and the next day I had a breakfast burrito. They were very, very flavorful and, Salvador, who cooked and served was very nice. It felt like I had known him for a long time. This is my new favorite place in the desert due to flavors, and Salvador is a added bonuses

Had to order my grandma’s favorite: a Chile relleno. Every place has a spin on how they make ‘em. Pleasantly surprised the passilla was delicious, cheese was a tasty combo never had before(white). The sauce did not take over flavor of the pepper. Rice & beans as well as, flour tortillas which I definately didn’t need, but so tasty! Service was kind and prompt. No pushy upsell, no lazy attitudes. Thanks for taking care of me

We just ordered from LA bite I know take out isn’t necessarily the same as eating in. With that being said, me and my boyfriend are upset at the amount of money we spent here. I had the carne asada fries which I actually wanted salsa on and specified that when we placed our order. I got none. the guacamole tasted like it had been sitting out and got diffrenet flavors from whatever else they had in their fridge. It also looked brown either from using bruised avocados or again from it just being old. The sour cream tasted a bit bitter and the fries were old. My boyfriend had gotted a wet carne asada burrito which is probrably the best thing we ordered. We had also gotten a torta which was confusing to be because it came out on a hamburger bun with fries… needless to say i now feel like crap eating what i ate here. I dont think ill be ordering from here anytime soon

We had the Cemita torta. It was huge. Never had it before here. The chipotle on it was a little spicy for me but it was delicious. The service was good. The waitress took our order and brought our drinks quick and she was very friendly.

Hubby and I shared the carne asada fajitas. They were sizzling hot. Nice smokey flavor. The guacamole was creamy, and the sour cream was icing on the dish. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but for the quality of the food. The cleanliness is spot on, the waitress was attentive and pleased. I give it two thumbs up.

The chimichangas must be made by God himself, and they offer both fountain sodas as well as glass bottle«hencho en el Mexico» sodas. Yum!

A big surprise. Great authentic food. The enchiladas had an incredible mole sauce. I’ll be back again and again. Homemade food with very nice service. I just took S trip to Mexico and didn’t leave the Palm Springs area.

I got one of the 599 burritos it was a little bit on the smaller side but for 599 what could you expect. The burrito was actually very good wasn’t too dry I would say overall though it was very very nice place to eat that didn’t cost a small fortune

Food was very authentic and prices were VERY fair. I got shrimp fajitas which had tons of flavor. Service was great until the waitress took off on her break and went missing for a long period of time. The food was good except for the burrito special that are from. Expect tons of lettuce which I have never had in a burrito. Other then that everything else was good. SERVICE: Started of great until the waitress took off for her break and was gone for a long period of time. I guess it happens once in a while. I would return again,

Welcome home! That’s how you will be greeted here, like family. The owner and staff are amazing. I have gone in here with just my girlfriend, and with a huge group of drunk friends many a time and every time they are more than helpful and patient. Now let’s talk about the food, right now I am here eating the best salsa in the desert(and I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant here), and I will soon devour a chile rellaño and perfect rice n beans and my other half has a huuuge steak fajita burrito. I can’t begin to tell you how picky I am with my Mexican food(I want it authentic, spicy and full of flavor), and I am never disappointed, always amazed and stuffed. Don’t take my word for it, explore a lil and you’ll be happy you did, or don’t that just means more food for me :))

I live really close so we’ve been there purely for convenience about 8x in 6 years. Every time we give it another chance we are reminded why we never get food from there. It’s totally bland. The veggie burrito is the grossest thing ever. It’s overpriced too. Service is good though.

I had a tough time choosing what rating to give and in the end I figure this place is a solid 3.5 with the food of a 4 to 4.5 for a taqueria. I dropped in for a fast breakfast burrito and I liked what I saw when I walked in. I was the only gringo in the place and they had a good crowd. The interior was pretty boring and the world cup was pretty loud on the TV. I highly suggest the breakfast burrito which was smokey and spicy served with nice crisp hash browns. This alone is worth the trip. My wife was not as happy with her chorizo which she felt was too bland and not one of the better chorizo’s in the Coachella Valley. For a taqueria, this is more expensive than I was expecting for a simple breakfast of 2 burritos and a kids meal, which affected the star rating as well as the slow service and lack of water refills, even after we asked a few times. I know my wife will not order the chorizo if we return, but I will definitely return for the killer breakfast burritos.

Unassuming atmosphere with very good food and a great price. We got the enchiladas poblanas, the carne asada, and fajitas. All three tasted great and were made with the freshest ingredients. The mole sauce is homemade and is some of the best I have ever had. Our server was extremely friendly. Total bill including beverages and tax was an astounding $ 42! ¡Muy bien, Cinco de Mayo!

Chips are a bit greasy but delicious, service is good. Had the quesadilla with chicken, little chicken and was supposed to have jalapeños but they seem to be missing. Generous on guacamole and sour cream. Ambiance is weak. Food is fair.

I haven’t had much of a variety of food here because I’m a creature of habit but the stuff i get is consistently great! I mostly stick to the shrimp cocktail and my husband gets the«wet burrito» with red sauce(beef). It’s always such a treat. I’ve had the nachos and margaritas as well, which are nummy. I’m not overly impressed with the margaritas but I’m a picky drinker and that’s not fair to them.(Its my own fault for mastering the«top shelf» margarita at home) My mom loves them and I will still order them.

No cerveza? No problemo! Place your order, «para llevar», walk over to Stater Brothers, pick up some icy ones and by the time you get back your order will be waiting for you.(They may have their liquor license by now, we were getting to go anyway.) This place is across the street from our family condo at the Desert Princess so it is convenient, turns out it’s also affordable, friendly and muy delicioso! I got shrimp fajitas, I really don’t ever get fish or shrimp to go, but decided to take a chance. I zipped back to the condo and we both ate it with flour tortillas and were pleasantly surprised. The shrimps were plump, fresh and piping hot. The beans and rice were just like we like ‘em and together with the coronas we were stoked. Gotta love good Mexican in the desert. Gotta love good Mexican anywhere, anytime!
