We just completed a fairly complicated purchase of a new home and simultaneous rental of our current home. Dayna Matthews made this all happen as smooth as possible. If we had had a different realtor, I honestly think our purchase might have fallen through and we would have lost the new house due to difficulties with the seller. Dayna was able to navigate and resolve the complexities we were having with the seller and negotiate a fair deal allowing us to close escrow as planned (despite the seller’s unwillingness to close on time) and allow us a rent-​back option. This was my third time buying a home and was the most complex. Dayna made the experience less stressful for us and got everything closed on time!
At the same time, we were eager to get our current home rented out as we (like so many others) cannot sell it for any profit in this current market. Dayna was pro-​active in getting the process started with ads on the MLS and Craig’s List and a weekend open house. After the the open house, we had 6 great applicants to choose from and 2 days later we had a signed rental contract for more than monthly rent we were expecting to get! And, all this happened 3 weeks before we moved into our new house. It was great because we had plenty of time to pack and plan our move but at the same time we had peace of mind that we would not have to carry 2 mortgages.
I am really glad we chose Dayna to work with on our purchase and rental. Real Estate is such an important investment and it is critical to work with an agent who 1) understands the market, 2) advocates for you 100%, and 3) is very knowledgeable and experienced.
