Rock Paper Scissors Hair Studio

Amy is just fantastic! Last weekend she did my hair and makeup for my wedding, along with my four bridesmaids. She nailed five different hair-​dos, giving each of us exactly what we asked for in exactly the amount of time she said it would take. I really could not have been happier with the results. Amy was so professional and personable, I highly recommend using RPS for an event. If I lived locally, I expect I would become a regular for sure.

Also to add a liar. You might want to get your facts straight before u post. Your laughing in the back and sticking your head out like little children is totally unprofessional. Secondly there was no 911, shoeless, or intoxication. You’re the one that had the hang up because my shoes were sitting at my chair, minding my own business, and starting my hair treatment.

Fabulous hair salon! I wandered in one day to ask questions and Amy (the owner) was very accommodating and even gave me her cell number so I could ask further questions. I have had 2 appointments so far with Darren and have been extremely happy. My naturally curly/​wavy hair is challenging, but the cut, color, products, and advice have been outstanding. The atmosphere and attitude of all employees is refreshing. Bonus — you havta love a place that gives you wine during the appointment! ;)

Customer service here is something you won’t find! Darren did my hair and I really liked the cut and the color but did need to go back just 3 days later to ask for a couple more blonde foils because the bottom layer of my hair that SHOWS didn’t receive any of the highlights I paid for with my partial.
I was told I would need to pay ANOTHER $ 35 on top of the $ 125 I had just paid 3 days earlier for Darren to fix something he admitted he had over looked. Please be clear this was the OWNER’s decision– Amy decided to charge a customer more, rather than guaranteeing the work done at the salon. She lost my business for my next highlight/​cut and I will NOT bring back my other three daughters for cuts. I am sorry it didn’t work out as Darren is great and does great work. This sucks for him too because he just lost three clients because Amy the owner is too cheap to guarantee her work and satisfy a customer. Beware– be VERY VERY specific with what you want and get before you walk out the doors of Rock Paper Scissors salon in Castle Rock, CO.

The nicest hair studio I have ever been in. Amy does fabulous work. She has many years in the hair business, and it shows. I have naturally curly hair, and I’m never disappointed with the results. I have also had my hair done by Darren who is fantastic as well. Actually, I think you could pick any of the stylist in RPS and get great work. Amy hand picks her team and only has quality stylist in her studio.
