Washington turns out some amazing wines, so I expect a lot… Unfortunately these weren’t very good. The complimentary tasting is nice. The woman pouring sort of kept ripping on other winemakers in the state, so it didn’t come off as a very friendly place. Worth it if you have time to kill, but not sure I’d pull over again for this.

Complimentary tastings! Heck yah! Great reds and even a white I would drink (not a white fan) The place is cute, spacious and clean. Stop in, have some tastes, buy some wine and then come back with friends. You’ll be happy you stopped!

We really enjoyed our one visit to the Mt. St. Helens Winery tasting room. A lovely way to wrap-​up an afternoon of exploring the Mt. St. Helens area. The 2007 Syrah and the 2008 Pinot Gris were excellent and June was great fun, full of information about the area and their vineyard. Definitely worth a visit.
