Camp Bow Wow Castle Rock

Camp Bow Wow is the best! My 7-​month old puppy has been going to day camp here for the last 2 months during the week and she LOVES it! Just saying the word «camp» now makes her run to the door wagging not just her tail, but her whole body in excitement. I love that I can use their app or my computer to watch her play on the «Camper Cams» during the day and see all the fur friends she’s making :). She has a blast running around all day, and it’s perfect to get out all her puppy energy. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They know my dog by name and treat her so well. I feel comfortable leaving my dog in their very capable hands. We recently tried boarding as well one night and she did great — the staff gave us a full report when we asked how things went. Their cabins are very roomy and each one has a cot in it, too. They allow you to bring in beds, blankets, toys, and whatever else you want to help make your dog’s stay a positive one. 5 stars for Camp Bow Wow!

5 stars! The staff here is awesome – I always feel super comfortable leaving my puppy in their hands for the day. It’s a great place if you’re looking to socialize your pup – he has a ton of new friends, and plays so well with others now. They are awesome about any requests we have – including letting him have a mid-​day nap. We love Camp Bow Wow!

Long story short… We just moved here, and it’s the first time in our lives we’ve only had one dog, and no kids, and a fair amount of property. We got our puppy up here, and he just really needed more socialization than I could give him. I’ve had many many dogs in my life and have never so much as boarded one, so I was very reticent to try Camp Bow-​wow, and I couldn’t be more pleased. He almost breaks his leash trying to get into this place. Scratches at the swinging gate they have at the desk to hurry and get in. Every employee that I’ve encountered actually knows him by name… He absolutely LOVES IT! Just walking him every day, wasn’t enough. he needed to be around other dogs. be able to run around and play with them, etc… off leash. He’s a frenchie, so he’s on the smaller side, and I’m not a fan of dog parks where you don’t know if dogs are vaccinated, aggressive, etc. I’m also the pickiest person on the planet when it comes to my dogs, I took a tour before I even considered it. Very clean, no bad smells, and the dogs are all well attended. You can also watch them through their camera system during the day if you just want to check in. I really can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic staff and facility. My pup absolutely loves going there for both camp and boarding. I feel completely as ease when I drop him off.

Have two dogs now and feel totally comfortable leaving them with CBW. The staff is always friendly and show a real love for the dogs.

It took me a long time to decide to take my 3 yr old Siberian Husky to day-​camp, but with me working long hours he needed to be able to play, socialize and get some energy out. I’m so glad that I chose Camp Bow Wow… the staff has been awesome and most know both of us by first name.
Kai is always happy to go there and exhausted when he leaves. I love their packages as I now take him when I can (about once a week) and its already paid for…
Even bigger bonus (for Kai and his sister Saale) is that they have Merrick’s wet food and some delicious treats that I can’t resist picking up for them every once in a while.
I will be sad to leave this group when we move in a couple months, but am thrilled that we found such a great group.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to take their pup for the day.

We recently moved to Castle Rock from California.
We had a wonderful place there we took our Golden Doodle to. Camp Bow Wow has been every bit as good as the place we left. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our dog has gone 5 times now and she can’t wait to get in when we drive up.

Called this place today and they do not take pit bulls! Outrageous ! And discrimitory ! My dog is 10 years old and he never shown any signs of aggression in his life, he is the sweetest dog who goes to a dog park regularly and everyone loves him, you should evaluate dogs by behavior not breed! Very unprofessional place, they shouldn’t be in business!

Our dog loves Camp Bow Wow! It is hands down my favorite place to board our dog, mainly because he gets so much play time there and he is a very social dog. He comes home tired, which lets us all recover from our vacation.

On occasion my wife and I travel by air requiring us to leave our three furry kids with a trusted doggie hotel. We have used other services but have found Camp Bow Wow to be top notch when it comes to caring for our dearly loved pets. They like to spend the night together so the camp makes accommodations for them in the evenings. During the day we get to watch our dogs via webcam enjoying other furry guests from our hotel room several states away. We enjoy using there other services so that when we return our animals are bathed and all their nails are clipped. I would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone who truly appreciates a professional and caring facility for their pets at a very reasonable price.

Our dog loves it here. We never used a dog daycare nor boarding. Prior to an extended vacation, we brought our dog to the daycare for the day just to see if she would like it… she absolutely loved it. She was buggered out when she got home. When we went on our vacation, we decided to bring her here. During our vacation, we were able to watch her online with the doggy app. When we picked her up, I truely believe she wa sad to leave Camp Bow Wow.
The business is extremely clean and the staff was really nice to us and great with our dog. The prices are great as well. But regardless of the price, the way they treat our dog is worth the price they would charge. We have another vacation coming up and we will definitely go back. Also… we drop her off just for play dates and she loves her «friends».

Our pup is exhausted and «smelly good» at the end of a stay or play day! The staff are fun loving and genuine… and our family is updated and included in her routine! The kennels are clean and roomy, play time is supervised and safe. We feel confident when we are away that our 4^th «kiddo» is having just as great a time as we are!

Finally there is a place to board my dog in CR that I can feel comfortable about! We tried Tails Up which was ok but way too expensive, and Beau Monde where I was shocked at their seeming lack of knowledge about dog behavior, not to mention my dog and his bed came home beyond disgustingly filthy. But here we found fantastic, affordable boarding. The interior was extremely clean, didn’t even smell like «dog». The rooms were a good size and they provide a cot for them to sleep on.
Initially they require you bring your dog in for a complimentary day of daycare so that they can assure a good fit and lack of behavioral issues. I personally think this helped greatly for my dog in that he was that much more comfortable being dropped off when we went on vacation. They accommodated our dogs diet at 3x/​day eating habits. And best of all, they exhausted my otherwise wired dog! They allow them to run and play in bunches for hours and hours each day. He came home and slept for a couple of days! We were even given a report card to fill us in on his days at camp which was a nice touch. They obviously enjoy their jobs, and that makes dropping my dog off so easy.
