5 stars for the pizza, 3 stars for the service. Ordered a pizza for pickup and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived in 20 minutes and was told it just went in the oven. They were apologetic, in fact the owner came out and apologized and offered me a drink while I waited. There was another gentleman waiting for something as well and when his was finally ready they were apologizing to him as well. There was only 1 couple eating in at the time. Maybe they had a backlog of phone orders. Staffing seemed sufficient. I will certainly return as the pizza was very good! Obviously, they do use quality ingredients and it shows. If they could just get ahead of the service issues that are in so many reviews, they’ll have a gold mine! I hope that happens as I’m always pleased to help out a local business and these folks are just around the corner from us. Artichoke dip was also delicious. My wife thought it would be even better if they served it with something crunchy instead of the garlic sticks. We had some Italian bruschetta crackers that were very tasty with the dip! Don’t get me wrong, the garlic sticks were very good on their own. The pizza isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for. I think it’s good enough and the location is convenient enough to warrant the pricing. Of course the value would be improved substantially with top notch service. Can’t wait to try their different pies!

Food was awesome. Service was awesome. Shame on the snobs leaving 1 – 2 stars on this place. Give it a shot. The salads are bomb too.

We went for the first time last night and were super impressed! It was clean, nice décor and the owners were so friendly and attentive. They had a great beer selection(none on tap, FYI), and delicious pizza. We got the Vlad the Impaler and Boundary Waters pizzas, and a Caprese plate. The Caprese plate was super fresh, and the pizza’s were flavorful. Our boys had the kids pepperoni pizzas which were huge and delicious as well. We will be back! :)

Stopped by there for lunch meeting, and from the moment we walked in, everything was fantastic. The décor was great, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. I had a personal specialty pizza«All the rage», and I would definitely order it again! The local ingredients make all the difference, and I love supporting local businesses that are putting quality stuff in their food.

EXTRA fresh salads, pizza ingredients and wonderful wings. I must emphasize… best salads in town. If you cant eat pizza or drink beer, try their wings and/or salads! Delicious veggies and freshly made house dressings. They are all fantastic! The staff is also pretty great!

I could count the number of noteworthy pizza joints I’ve been to in my life on one hand and this place is my new top choice… The pies are top heavy with toppings piled high all the way out to the crust!(Which is especially important for gluten free folks like me who are relegated to rice flour crusts that aren’t particularly worth eating without a topping.) Yes, they have gluten free crust! I was a bit bummed, however, by the lack of gluten free beers during my first visit and when the owner stopped by our table to check in on our dining experience, he promised to have my favorite GF beer available… And he did! Great people, top notch pizza, and great service(although bit slow when they’re slammed).

We hesitated trying this place however we thought the newest had pass and they should be in a more steady state. I think we should have waited a little longer. Fresh ingredients I’ll give them that! However fresh ingredients should not equal what I feel are very high prices and soggy crust. Cooking with fresh ingredients does come with it own challenges and the chef and its crew must be trained on how to master the benefits of using these types of products. As you can read it’s a very common theme in many of the reviews. Secondly, our dislike could have almost been overlooked if they provided good service. Good service can erase the sins of a mediocre meal. The server was non, «what’s your order», bring the food, never checked on us, had to ask for additional beverages, and had to ask for our check. Not even a thank you for coming in this evening. I see this little place pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, my guess is it’s some regulars but mostly first timers that will think twice about a return visit. I like to see local businesses succeed and hopefully the owners are taking this and all other feedback as a gift and not negatively. Regardless if it’s just my perception or the observations of many reviewers it should be their reality. Take action proprietor or you will not make it in this very competitive space.

On the plus side, the toppings are very obviously high quality, tasty and fresh. Their specialty pizzas are super creative and I was so excited to try them all. The negative for me is the crust, which admittedly, for me, is the most important part. It’s totally tasteless and the texture is cardboard-ish…not that amazing NY pizzeria style, which is what I’d have expected at the price point and with the creativity of their pizzas. I was so bummed! I might would give them another try if I had a good coupon, but, otherwise, I wouldn’t pay almost $ 30 for a large 3 topping pizza that was just«OK.» The evidence is that I just threw out the 2 left over pieces after a week sitting in the fridge.. Hope they figure out the dough recipe to match the many great points.

First timer as my family just moved to Castle Rock. Overall I was impressed. I ordered a pizza to go, sat in the restaurant and waiting. My wait time was about thirty minutes… Which may seem long, but it was Friday night(they were busy) and it was cooked to order. Staff all very friendly and attentive. The pizza was pricey, but ingredients were very fresh and high quality. We ordered the 4H, which is packed with meats. We mainly ordered this for my husband, as he’s quite the carnivore. For me personally… It had too much meat… But that’s probably the point of that particular dish. I’ll definitely go back to try some others off the menu.

I guess this is okay if you like NY style pizza but I found it a bit soggy. Prices were okay, and portions were decent, just not the style of pizza I prefer. Owner and staff were very friendly, and service was good, so I’ll go again but try a salad or sandwich.

Excellent cheesy pizza! Made Fresh and to order using natural and organic ingredients! Friendly staff and personal attention by the owner. Beer and wine selection including local IPA’s. Worth the short drive off of I-25. Great place to stop between Denver and Colorado Springs!

In my earlier review I said«next time» pizza. I went with a fellow vet who had tried the pizza and remarked about it to me. Since he is a vegetarian I let him order. He loaded it with veggies, a first for me.(He even included pineapple — definitely a first for this Italian.) The pizza was amazingly good The crust was thin and yet not brittle, the fixings were plentiful, and I would rate the pizza a 9.(I am a tough grader, especially when it comes to all food Italian!) There were 2 pieces left over and my buddy took them home. I had my eye and flavor buds set on the fettuccine alfredo which I ordered as carry out. Before leaving I tried a different flavor gelato, the caramel. Delicious. The next day I warmed the fettuccine in the microwave. It too was superb. I will definitely order it again. Among the best in my local area. All-in-all I increased my rating and continue to recommend it highly. PS Our young waitress, Jennifer, was very efficient and personable. Correction to my previous review, the sub came with chips not fries.

My wife and I just tried 212 Pizza and it is definitely amazing, so happy to have a great pizza place that is close to us. The staff is amazing, one of the owners even came out to meet us and make sure everything was going good. Everything is made organic and grown right here in Colorado, even the beer is from Colorado.

I met a group of friends at 212 Pizza Co for dinner last night. I had never eaten there, but heard the food was good. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and very comfortable. The staff was attentive and engaging. The owner took his time to make sure we were well taken care of. The wings and artichoke dip appetizers were very good but the pizza was amazing. We had the 4-H, which was their version of a meat lovers pizza and their supreme. Both were fantastic with beyond-generous toppings and flavor. I can’t say enough about how good the pizza was. I will be back very soon!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. We had the avalanche pizza which was really good. I loved it. My son had the kids pepperoni which was fine, but nothing amazing. The place seems a little pretentious so nothing is cheap. You definitely pay for what you get(our large pizza was $ 26). If I come back in the future it would only be for carryout. The restaurant is small, not very family friendly, the seating isn’t really ideal unless you like sitting on top of strangers and there is only one waitress for the entire restaurant. Needless to say service wasn’t great, I think we saw our waitress 3 times and not once did we get refills on our drinks. And the restaurant was freezing, not just chilly, but can’t take off your winter jacket cold. Also, it’s seat yourself so groups of 2 were sitting at tables for 4+ and larger groups were waiting for these tables to free up, while there were tables for 2 that were open. And no one working here seemed to care. Also, it took 2 hours by the time we got our food and finished eating … and we didn’t wait for a table. It’s just very very slow. To go is really the only option for this place.

We live right around the corner & have eaten there twice. First time was a disaster since it was their opening night. The pizza was burned & the garlic knots were terrible. The second visit was better. Pizza was OK. Unfortunately there are at least 4 other local pizza shops that I like better. Pizza lacked anything extraordinary. We also had the Cannelonni dish. It was flavorful. Lastly we had the Italian Stallion sub. Even though mustard isn’t listed as an ingredient, the sandwich had mustard. Not good. Don’t get me wrong, I like mustard but it definitely doesn’t belong on an Italian sub… On the positive side, Alexander the manager is very friendly and went the extra mile to make things right. I gave the food two stars and added one star for the managers great service…

*Update* One of the owners has now written himself a review. «J.D. T.» wrote me as the owner shortly after my original review, offering to sit down and explain the quality of their ingredients to me. Newsflash J.D. I don’t care if the pope made it himself. It just doesn’t taste good to me. I’m allowed to have an opinion. Gotta love a place that writes fake reviews to offset real ones. I posted a screen shot in their photos for posterity since Unilocal will surely remove the review soon. :) I also reduced my rating to one star for this shady behavior. *note* several of the other reviews look fake too, but I can’t prove it. —Original Review Below— We have tried this place twice now. Once dine in and the other delivery. I have to say I expected a lot more for the premium prices they charge. The pizza is average and nothing I’d go out of my way for. Ironically, exactly like the Niccolo’s Pizza they replaced.
