I love taking my daughter to get c’est La Vie pastries, saying hi to everyone and being able to come get a hot coffee to enjoy my pastry with while having a table and bathroom for my kiddo.
Very clean and minimalistic, it’s nice to come to a place not trying to make you choke down the hipster coffee vibes they’re trying to throw out.
Though the menu doesn’t show french press, she does do it along with just about every other type of coffee house variety of beverage you can imagine.
A few small pastry options are presented in glass cake displays, along with a few hot tea bag options.
The icing on the cake is that they don’t close till 2 Sunday. So you can come and go as you like between coffee shop and farmer market. Ah, heaven.

Spotted this lovely shop after realizing my original destination was closed and I am SO glad I walked in!
Upon entering, you will see the décor is very simple, comfortable but still carrying that industrial-​luxe-​vibe. There are also several posters with information regarding several aspects of coffee. The atmosphere is minimalistic but rich. Regardless, the real gem here would be the coffee, the owner and all she’s got to offer!
The menu is very simple and easy to understand. My friend ordered an iced coffee and I asked for a recommendation from the owner who communicated with me with much hospitality before deciding on a tuxedo frappé.
Both of our drinks tasted excellent. A very distinct and fresh flavor was received from the coffee which was ground in front of us. The owner had a great variety of coffee makers and is extremely knowledgable in coffee. Heavily considering coming back for some sort of class but there is no doubt that I’ll be back for excellent drinks AND fresh pastries!

Cyclo Coffee serves up a quality cup of joe, great customer service, and offers educational courses to take your coffee love to the next level. If you are in the Castle Hills area, stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Best coffee in town! The owner is super sweet too. This spot is a hidden gem, and you are missing out if you haven’t tried this coffee. I am usually not a huge fan of coffee… but I am a believer when I come here. Cyclo does not serve bitter coffee like a huge corporation which will remain unnamed. Check it out, it’s worth it!!!

Great place to learn about coffee… Exceptional staff, really passionate people. Will definitely go back to try different coffee styles they offer.
