The taste of the food was not the best, so I didn’t eat that much, but my husband has been as sick as a dog. Never again.

Love this place! The closest to New York Chinese food I’ve found down here. Too bad I moved away from that area. I actually miss the food.

We fell in love with this place and used to try to order once or twice a month. Unfortunately the past two times we’ve had old/ice cold food. I ordered general tsos chicken and it had no peppers or spice in it at all. It was ice cold and the chicken was stale and congealed. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

I’ve been going here for years. I usually love it but the last couple of times it has been disgusting. I won’t be returning. Try 88 panda. It’s in the same area and very fresh and delicious.

We ordered food to go. They delivered in a reasonable amount of time and was friendly. The food was pretty good, too for being your typical Chinese Americanized fare. I tried the Hunan Beef, Sesame Chicken, General Tsao Chicken, and Broccoli Beef. Everything was tasty. The spring roll and crunch noodles went great with a salad I made the next day. If I’m ever craving Chinese, this would be it!

Substantially superior«NY style» take out. Looks like every other strip-mall«NY» style spot with a menu that is essentially three sauces, some protein, canned veggies and a head of broccoli but at China 1 you may find a lobster tail, genuine scallops and almost always more shrimp than water chestnuts under that styrofoam cover. One entrée here beats two others from the competition. They advertise sushi, but I only eat sushi from specialists. However, nobody else even tries to challenge Publix, so that reveals their aspirations. Management is on-site. China 1 is significantly better and has gourmet potential. Real Canton style? No. Better than all other Chinese takee– outee(I’m from NOLA) within miles? YES! By several miles!

This was SOGOOD for cheap quick chinese food! I was so surprised at how tasty it was… not greasy… not bloat-inducing, just delicious. VERYDIFFICULTTOGETINTOANDOUTOFRIGHTNOWASTHEREISCRAZYCONSTRUCTIONHAPPENINGATTHEINTERSECTIONON436&REDBUGROADRIGHTNOW. Be careful as you approach.

We used to love this place and the service is very personable, so don’t get me wrong in this review. We’d been there many times and the food tastes wonderful as well. But just yesterday we ate there and this morning my fiancé woke up very ill with clear symptoms of food poisoning(it was some of the only food he’d eaten all day and the time window/turnaround was too quick for it to be anything else). So all I’m saying is BECAREFUL what you order in places like this. Meat, especially, can be dangerous and you just never know.

Typical Chinese takeout joint that seems to be in every strip mall in Florida, HOWEVER, China 1 has General Tso’s tofu on their menu, which most places like this don’t seem to have. It’s not an Asian vegetarian haven like Garden Café or The Loving Hut, but it’s delicious(and dirt cheap) in a pinch. They do deliver. Not sure what their radius is, but I live in the eastern part of Altamonte Springs and I get their menus on my door all the time. There’s a 12 dollar minimum for delivery and a 1 dollar delivery fee. Not too bad, especially if, like me, you wish to avoid that stretch of 436 like the plague.
