A nice, quaint & quiet local bookstore. It offers espresso, teas, coffee & Italian sodas. They also have some fun book & reading accessories. A few cushioned chairs as well as a couple of small tables with chairs offer seating to stay and read. I would visit this bookstore again.

It’s a bookstore. It’s a coffee shop. It’s a reason to stop in Casper, Wyoming(not that you didn’t have dozens alreadys). Their joe will put hair on your chest and is best sipped while browsing their nice selection of books. I used to think Casper was just a friendly ghost, now I understand it’s a rad place in eastern/central Wyoming to fuel up on java and paperbacks. And I like it!

This is a nice quaint locally-owned bookstore in the heart of downtown Casper. I am mostly digital now, which I know, is killing the charm of books, but so be it. There were several good cookbooks here. I think you can find all the mainstream bestsellers, along with some hidden regional gems.

1 of only 2 real coffee spots in town. Great coffee and books. Quiet laid back vibe

In a world of passionless baristas, pushing buttons to extract stale, burnt coffee into chemically enhanced drinks that require lengthy acronyms in order to save Sharpie ink, Wind City Books preserves the traditions that make a a decent espresso great. a meticulously maintained high-end italian machine, fresh beans, proper temperature and pressure settings, and a barista who is more critical than any drinker. oh, and they have books too. Best coffee, scones, unsmoked Yerba Maté, and exotic teas in Casper… OMG… The scones are top notch. Candied ginger, Orange cranberry… Even better than my old favorite scone from Mana Foods in Maui.
