Treasure Isle

This place is great! I ordered a pair of sunglasses online (from
which is based in China, I beleive) which were a great deal, except for the fact that the screw holding in the left lens was loose. Before I got a chance to tighten it, it fell out never to be seen again, leading me on a hunt throughout the triangle trying to find somewhere with a replacement screw but with no luck as apparently the style of screw they used was unusually small. I tried multiple Lens Crafters & Sunglass Huts, the Dakota watch company, and a few jewelry shops. Finally, I remembered I’d been meaning to check this place out and gave it a shot — glad I did!
At first they weren’t sure if they had a screw that would work, but after about a 5-​minute search they found a match! Well, sort of — the screw had to be amputated as it was too long but after another 5 minutes or so my glasses were as good as new! I’d been expecting to have to go through the hassle of sending these back to China and/​or requesting a refund (and I’m expecting to move abroad for a while making this incredibly inconvenient) so I was extremely, extremely relieved that Treasure Isle was able to fix them! Not to mention they only charged me $ 5!
Beyond their amazing repair services, they also had an array of beautiful, hand-​crafted jewelry including all sorts of gems at reasonable prices. When I’m in the market for jewelry again I will definitely keep this place in mind.

Treasure Isle is a small jewelry store whose outside belies the treasures within. It has a pretty amazing collection of 14k gold charms and slides. The prices seem quite reasonable and the ladies working the day I was there were very helpful in showing me all the things that caught my eye. And there were a lot. There was a beautiful garnet, citrine, and smokey quartz necklace I almost bought until I remembered I was supposed to be shopping for a gift for my niece. As it ended up, they gladly helped me choose the perfect charm, engraved it for me, and, at the same time, sized a ring. All at a surprisingly fair price. If you’re not in the area, they also have stores on Capital and in Crabtree Valley.
