Excellent job. Friendly and knowledgable technicians. Office called to confirm appt and tech called an hour prior to arrival so I didn’t have to sit home and wait. They cleaned my dryer vent and I am very satisfied.

Heater kept turning itself off due to exhaust being clogged. Furnace guy shut it all down and said he doesn’t do exhaust work. I called Kingsborough. They came out the next day. within an hour he cleared out a huge birds nest and had the heat up and running. Doubt I ever need a chimney sweep again but if I did I would definitely use this one again.

I recently had a quote for over a thousand dollars for some work to get done on my chimney. It didn’t seem right and I wanted a second opinion. After looking on Unilocal I found Kingsborough. The tech. took pictures and showed me what was wrong and fixed it the same day. All for under $ 200. Wow what a difference!

Replaced chimney cap and new stainless steel liner installed.
We called to have them replace a chimney cap that had fallen off and asked them to check our chimney attached to the hot water heater. We knew there was a leak, and weren’t sure if we needed a cleaning or a new liner.
They came out and took pictures of the inside showing us where the old clay liner had collapsed and was blocking the venting. They installed the liner, gave us a new chimney cap, cleaned out all the debris inside (we were shocked at how much crud there was inside) and they even sealed the hole in the wall. They did a phenomenal job and the workman kept the house clean and tidy.
We also have a fireplace that won’t work because it shares another chimney with our furnace, and they gave us several options to get our fireplace working again. We plan on using them for that work in the future.

Our chimney had never been cleaned in the 5 years we’ve lived in our place, so I figured it had to filthy, right?
Well, not so much. Kingsborough came out, took one look at my chimney and said «yeah…this is pristine. We don’t need to clean it.» They could have taken my money and run, and I really appreciate the honesty! I ended up paying for just an inspection instead of a cleaning. While he was here, the guy also took a peek at my dryer vents, which he also deemed clean. I will absolutely have them come back in a few years to check things out again!
