Great Wraps

One of the few healthy options in a food court that I’ve seen, and I love everything on the menu!

Best option at the Cary Towne Center and Southpoint Mall (Durham) food courts! Delicious wraps and the owner (s) are always super friendly (I’ve been a regular for years). Everything is always made fresh when you order… my favorite is the cheesy chicken wrap and the curly fries are always so fresh and delicious… they also have several different seasonings you can use (opt for the cajun). Combos with a wrap, curly fries, and medium soda are about $ 7. Always a great choice when at the food court at Cary Towne Center and Southpoint!

A food court is always a tricky place if you’re trying to not be, well, fat. There are a lot of bad choices you can make because you don’t have many options. I skipped Chik-​Fil-​A one day because I realized the mall menu was limited, boo, so I hopped over to Great Wraps. The special caught my eye: a Thai chicken wrap with peanut sauce. I was really impressed with it and it felt healthy, what with all the cucumbers, grilled chicken and rice stuffed into it. I love the fact that they press the wrap on a griddle – it makes it crunchy, yet soft, and extra warm, so I can take them to go and enjoy at home.
They have so many options, some healthy, some not so, but definitely give it a whirl. I tried the fries once, too, but beware you need to put your own salt and seasonings on it, otherwise, they taste like nothing. The owner (?) is super-​friendly and I really enjoy Great Wraps! I would make a special trip to the mall just to eat there, for reals.

I’m truly a fan! First off, I hate mall food! This place surpised me because it is fresh and seasoned to the T! The ziki sauce is very flavorful on the Gyros! It’s still in business so I’m glad it is appreciated by many!

For a mall food court (not a big fan), the place is pretty darn good. A nice alternative to Burger King, Chic-​Fil-​A, or Sbarro. I’ll keep my eye out for it next time I’m in a mall.
I had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was pretty basic, but decent.
